Just a few corrections/clarifications. Razor Claw- after using a move you have a 3 second window to use a basic attack that will deal 50% of your attack +20 damage. On a melee attacker this attack also slows for 2 seconds and there is a 2 second cooldown. Choice specs- when using a move it deals an extra tick or 40% of your attack +60 damage. This will only apply to 1 enemy even if the skill hits multiple and will only activate once even if the skill has multiple hits. This has an 8 second cooldown. Weakness Policy- Upon getting hit gives a 3% attack buff. This stacks up to 4 times which maxes the buff at 12% of your attack. The stacks will last for ~2.5-3 seconds and all disappear at once. Recoil damage will not trigger this. Special Attack Specs- gives 18 attack per goal, stacks 6 times. (He wasn’t wrong but it may have been unclear). Focus Band- 3 ticks of 14% missing hp. This constantly updates meaning if you take no damage after activating it you heal a minimum of 27% of your max hp. If you heal and then get hit back to exactly 25% of max hp every time it’s 31%. If you’re living on a prayer and have 1 hp-heal-1hp-heal-1hp heal it maxes out at 42%. Rocky Helmet- when you take 10% of your max hp in one hit it deals 5% of your max hp in an AoE around you Rough Skin reflects back only a percent of the damage of a melee attack. Both have a 2 second cooldown Just a note about Shell Bell + Energy Amp. It’s not really about the healing or the unite move boost (even though those are good) it’s that you run them mainly on Pokémon that have natural cooldown reduction from level up (add in Venusuar with Petal Dance Giga Drain to this list) or on Pokémon that have moves that reduce their cooldown on hit (Gardevoir psyshock and Cramorant Air Slash) as it allows for very good uptime. Score Shield- 10% of your hp. Also makes you unstoppable. Buddy Barrier- It is indeed 40%. As a note, shields do not count for hp so multiple buddy barriers can be activated onto the same ally. Exp Share- You alluded to it but never truly mentioned the main reason you run it so... exp in this game gets split. When a wild Pokémon is killed it gives the Pokémon that landed the last hit 70% of the exp and any nearby teammates 30%, if no teammate is nearby it instead just gives 100% to the killer. With exp share it instead gives the last hit 100% of the exp and then the exp share teammate 30%. Which means you won’t get in the way of the carry you are trying to feed. Float Stone- 20% movement speed. Also in general when the game says out of combat it means 8 seconds without hitting or getting hit. Main use is going to be on a Pokémon trying to invade enemy jungle immediately. The base damage of a move accounts for 3 things. The % of your attack it uses, the damage based on level, the base damage. This is called an RSB, which stands for Ratio, Slider, Base. So take for example Lucario’s extreme speed at lvl 5. It uses 225% of his attack, 6 times his level -1, and a base damage of 280. So to figure out the damage (before accounting for defense) you would use following equation: (2.25 times 211(his attack at lvl 7)) + (6times(7-1)) + 280. You can find all of these RSB on unite-db.com Something to note when looking at items, special attackers tend to have higher attack stats in exchange for lower ratios. That’s what makes wise glasses and choice specs good, since they work on a percent of your attack. Physical attackers on the other hand tend to have lower attack stats in exchange for higher multipliers. Due to this weakness policy is almost always weaker than a max stacked attack weight. But it is easier to stack weakness policy.
Swap the tiers on choice specs and wise glasses around you you have it correct for this meta, also wise glasses worth to level to 30 for the sp.atk users
Main items are Attack Weight/Focus Band/Score Shield. If you want to go more offensive then you swap either Focus Band or Score Shield for Razor Claw. If you go full damage then Weakness Policy is a strong item for him. You typically run Razor over Policy because Razor provides more damage that the extra sustain from Policy can’t make up.
It's hard for me to remember which ones were free BUT I wouldn't worry about that too much because if you accidentally buy an item that is kater free, the game will refund you the coins spent!
