1:45 I love that even the 'squirt' boats sound good. Unlike the U1's of today. 4:30...just like its namesake, it was a difficult design to keep on the water

@@M5PerfHydros Well as it turns out I've got the green light! Got the plans and kit (leaning FE) BUT I may have hit a snag. RC Boat Company is at a work stoppage which given the reason is understandable. Is there anyone else that produces cowlings, wings and other whatnot? I'd ask this on your FB page but I don't do social media.

Question: The boats race are always clockwise, or they run counter clockwise too. They run turn to the left too?
Clockwise for 1/8th scale and gas scale, but our 1/10th scale boats turn left. Don't ask why, I'm still unhappy about that myself

I've always been a smoke and fire kind of guy, but electric is becoming a lot more tempting these days as fewer nitro boats are showing up now. Why not build yourself a whole new boat?

Weight, complication, money.... I get what you're saying, and I'm sure it would be fun, but we're trying to keep things as simple and affordable (ha!) as possible
