Razvan, I am now watching your old videos when I get a chance. I left this message in your Royal Oud video a few weeks ago. I am not sure if you saw it. I tried French Lover recently. I love the fragrance. You are correct regarding it having similarities to Royal Oud. I think that Royal Oud is slightly better but French Lover by Frederic Malle is a great fragrance . Pierre Bourdon is a great perfumer and this is a great creation by him. Julien Rasquinet , who created Royal Oud & was trained by Bourdon, was inspired by French Lover.

The way you present the scents, packaging, etc., and then description of the scents, how one could wear them & what you like about them, always make me feel like purchasing them. Im debating between French Lover and Musc Rav but Musc Rav sometimes gives me a sweaty smell but that goes away quickly. Ive been hearing that french lover is similar to Creed Royal oud which I really like so I guess leaning towards french lover. Is it office safe?
Hello my friend, the question is good but you did not told me what perfumes you usually like? Musc Ravageur smells like a cinnamon pie in the winter (in big lines) and French Lover is a gorgeous woody aromatic with the angelica smell and a big spicy too. Royal Oud smells similar and costs, funny thing .. less. If you lean towards French Lover, get the Creed one. They are all office safe, and will not project much.
Hello my friend, yes I have. Ormonde Man is nice but generic, it did not gave me any "extra" to make me buy it. French Lover is exquisite, it hat a certain vibe for the modern gentleman. It has the Angelica note which is popping and I love it. Ormonde is a shy generic scent and FL is the bold one who takes one or two risks :) Hope this helps, Raz
It's definitely one of the best Frederic Malle perfumes and more masculine niche you can't get. I would like it to be stronger, but one can't have it all :)

Un parfum bun pentru anul apariției sale, în 2007. Datorită faptului că acum este reformulat, plus că în 2013 Amouage i-a dat o replică de nota 13, eu merg pe mâna lui Opus VII, care e cam același lucru, doar că are o altă proiecție, una gigantică, cum îmi place mie. 😃

Mai esre câte ceva și prin altă colecție... 😂 În topul meu, cel cu numărul 1 de la F.M. este chiar ultimul parfum al anului 2019, Rose & Cuir, parfum etichetat ca fiind unisex, dar, pentru mine este cel mai masculin parfum de trandafir, ever made. Mi-ai făcut mare poftă să încerc și pe Promise... Bine, cu plăcere!
Hey Greg, I am not one of them. It is not a powerful scent, quite close to skin but very manly and nice. My bottle lasts easily for 7 hours with two sprays.
I had mixed feelings with this perfume. It smells like a cucumber that soaked in lemon. I like it freshness but it doesn’t give me that IT factor. Unlike any Frederic Malle perfumes. It’s a unique scent but yeah, not for me i guess.
