I like both, 40 knots turns to a soapy scent on my skin. Ambre Nuit is more “sexy” and alluring but lacks the longevity.

I have both and me too I love Ambre Nuit more. But they are both excellent and different enough to not be redundant

I would go for xerjoff as the versatility is way better. Also what has not been mentioned. 40 knots smells different on different weather. Ambre nuit smells awesome and a bit more complex , but i do not know when would i wear it. It is definetly too sweet for warm weather and too weak for cold weather. Maybe office or home would be perfect occasion. Performance is very disappointing for the price.

I have both and agreed on your take my friend, I wear AN in the fall and 40K in the coldest days of Winter for it's lasting power.

I smelled 40 Knots just once and have owned Ambre Nuit before and i say, that Ambre Nuit is far superior in terms of complexity, and craftmanship. Sadly it really lacks performance and the Ambre Nuit Esprit doesn‘t fix that as it is a diffrent scent. And as far as Xerjoff is concerned, I am disappointed. I have sold all of the brand's fragrances because, in my opinion, they do not match the quality of the scent of the long-established French houses. They often have scratchy synthetic notes, or start to annoy because they penetrate the nose in a linear fashion. For me it is Ambre Nuit for sure!

It’s smoother than Tuscan Leather and less leather. Tuscan Leather is itself a masterpiece. I didn’t get a ton of similarities with my nose and I wore them side by side.

I was so excited to see original Lacoste had been rereleased, similar packaging expecting that well known fragrance I have worn for years. Then the disappointment, nothing like the original it smells like every other generic fragrance on the market.

I gave my Al Haramain bottle to my brother in-law. To me the cloves were too strong in this one. I prefer Tobacco Touch from Maison Alhambra and Paris Corner Tobacco Vanille - both great clones. I kept both cause one is more sweet and the other a bit more spicy.

Amber oud tobacco is in general not a bad stuff but it is not a straight up clone, its way too many differences, this fragrance can not be smelled for the first 30 mins after application as the clove and ginger combo is absolutely beast mode, headache inducing 😂😂

Well, for most of us, Ombre Nomade is not wearable. It is very animalic, dark and heavy. If you are not living in Dubai, or it is not your wedding day, it is very hard to find occasions to use. I agree that they smell somehow similar, but they are definitely for different audience. Oud Marakuja is actually very light and it has zero animalic notes inside. The oud is on the woody side. I understand there is hype around it but it kind of deserves it. It filled a big gap in the market, which is actually wearable oud for the western world.

Mr Razvan in my case continues green light aux and Bluetooth symbol and not going to charge. Try firmware update and clear error also.
