Dropfleet Commander Battle Report - UCM vs Scourge

This is a long delayed battle report, and I am very sorry its taken so long, was a bit of a case of lining things up and developing a new workflow that didn't need days to edit a single report!
Figured it out now, so I have to catch up in order to meet my resolution requirements!

Subscribed in hopes of seeing more of this game! I’m getting into Dropfleet and Dropzone with some pals as of late, even if our only means of play is with Tabletop Simulator. Still, beautiful paint, pleasant voice, and a fun watch. Keep it up! 😊

point defense only works against close combat atttacks not the regular guns or the burn through weapon

Oh, and going further into the video, at 9:40 ish you talk about choosing plasma weapon instead of the oculus beams. The plasma weapon is a close action weapon which means it can fire alongside your normal weapon of choice. As long as you can shoot a normal weapon you can shoot close action weapons too but only at scan range, not scan + signature.

@@ethanmckinney203 well, that plus the fact you don't have to go weapons free to use the close action weapons as long as you can shoot at least one oculus beam.

Played a slightly larger version of this scenario and had a blast. Scourge threw in the towel when their second strike carrier was destroyed. It had one point of damage already, took a second point, rolled for crippling damage and took 2 more damage! Oops.
