Colleen Atwood Costume Designer for 'Snow White and the Huntsman'

Colleen Atwood on her inspiration for wardrobe of Rupert Sanders' 'Snow White and the Huntsman'. She shares that she made over a thousand costumes for the movie and co-star Charlize Theron's initial reaction to her outfit.

Colleen is a true gem of a designer. When I kept seeing her familiar name in movies, I finally looked her up and was pleased to find out I did go to school with her. (Class of 65 at QHS.) What a resounding success she made out of her life and it couldn't have happened to a nicer person. 9 Academy nominations and 3 Academy Awards among many other kudos. Lots of hard work and perseverance paid off. Her life from adversity to success is a tale that I hope some day is told. What an inspiration.

For me the rightful description for the costume design of Colleen Atwodd is one eccentric elegance full of an impeccable creativity. My favorite works about her are "Sleepy Hollow", "Chicago", " Memoirs of a Geisha", "Lemony Snicket", "Sweeney Todd", " Nine", "Alice in Wonderland", "Snow White and the huntsman", "Fantastic Beast and where to find them" and "Dumbo"

I can hardly wait to see her designs for a movie I cant wait to see made ....FOREVER MY LOVE.by REBECCA BRENDERWYN.I read that book 15 years ago and Iam wondering why it hasnt been made into a movie yet😘
