They wanted a dog to look a certain way and in the process they got very unhealthy dogs. There are now talks about UGA going with a mascot that is more like the older English Bulldog which is more athletic and healthy. This is one reason the Old English Bulldogge was created. These bullys look muscular but in an unhealthy way. Getting away from the original look and now you have a dog that looks like it can barely walk without having a stroke. i bred bullies for over 15 years. truth be told I had enough they are all about money I had pups sell for over 10gs. these dogs are a sad sight they die early and very easy. I went back to different breeds that can actually do something and function. these bullies can't even deal with 85 degree weather and a walk in the park. they can't breathe. I got caught up in them for too long just to realize they are not fun,they can't play or function right. They are just a pretty ornament to look at. not for me. and the dogs suffer from being this way. this is from somebody that was deep into all the big names. it's b.s. they are selling you a dream and the dogs aren't even something to enjoy.
