- I am so stoked that Snow Summit is open. This is the trail where I first really started learning to jump last year. The trails and jumps at Snow Summit are really well made.
Blue Steel is a great way to progress your jumping skills. There are several smaller jumps near the top, and some larger one in the middle. All of the jumps are table tops. This is the biggest factor is feeling safer when pushing your jumping limits.
I rode this trail about 5 times in total on Thursday. It is fun every time.

blue steel is one of the best trails ive ever ridden i love it
53, went up with my oldest son on Sunday.. really loose until a 30 minute rain helped out with grip.. Agree. Went from a 26 to 29. Still trying to figure out the bike to get more comfortable. Need to cut the bars down from 200 because they a just a bit to wide and puts me too far forward 21 Intense Carbine, DVO F/R suspension.

Nice run! Im looking to head up to the bike park soon! do you use the gopro chest mount to film?
I will place the gopro in a couple of different spots. I will use it on the front of my Fox full face helmet. I was using my Snap Mount for this video.
Should I buy go pro hero 8 for MTB or hero 7, what do you recommend?
I'm just anxious about the non replaceable lens on 8

The Gopro 8 has better stabilization. I used screen and lens protectors on my Hero 8.

I didn't think so. I heard that Friday was packed.
I went to big bear and rode this and tried the last tomb stone on blue steel and flew over the bars and snapped my collar bone in two. But I ended up blacking out for a little bit and coming out with a minor concussion
