Hi guys, my name is Josh and I work at North Wyke, a Mid-Devon Agricultural Research Institute farming nearly 700 acres with a mix of Beef, Sheep, and Arable. I hope you enjoy the videos, I try to make them informational but also entertaining for you all.

Frustrates the hell out of me that companies think it is acceptable to ship kit that has not been properly QC'd - a simple water fill test would have shown that this had been poorly assembled, rectified before leaving the factory (or assembly point if they ship it in parts and assemble locally). I am sure lots of people will jump to JFC's defence saying it was a simple fix and mistakes happen but I see this sort of shoddiness in hardware far too often and because no-one truly takes companies to task about it, they continue to get away with it. Well done for showing on the video the fact that you had to sort out a issue to make it function correctly before you could use it. If I was the sales manager for them, I would be putting in a visit to explain on video what they were going to do to rectify their QC issues and if they don't, I would not have them top of my shopping list for kit in the future
JFC Agri are getting great plugs these days on the channel. 1st the drinkers and now the milk cart. Can’t beat a bit of Irish made products (apart from the o-ring boo boo!)😉
It seems that way doesn’t it! The O ring was fine, it had been over tightened before delivery! I should be sponsored really! 😬

I remember that milk powder I used to eat it by the hand full mind you I was only 14 years old then brings back a lot of memories I’m now 73 years young and my large tractor was a Massey 35 he he love the videos Kev.

Thanks for another interesting and informative video Josh. Glad to hear you saying about bending your knees when lifting. I can vouch that its the best advice your giving out, as when I was 16, I had an accident with a wee Grey Fergie petrol/paraffin tractor which almost left me paralysed, and one of the things the surgeon said was, that from that point on and had to make my knees always do the work. I went through my apprenticeship and all of my working life with my back issue, but never lost more than a handful of days work, thanks to his advice. Love your new milk Kart/Taxi, sure beats humping buckets about.
Yep gotta look after your back! Being so tall i have had some trouble with my back before now so i always try and look after it! Was worse when i was on my feet milking both ends of the day!
Hi Josh I like the mini merlo I think we hired 2 about 15 years ago lads loved them very nippy. That mixer for the calves will be great. Like seeing new buildings going up it will be great when all is finished. I'm away watching this in North Yorkshire lovely part of the country. Take care. Coffee time

Mighty video that's a great job for feeding the calves especially when you will have so many to do as for the shed it sounds more like a bull palace so looking forward to seeing it progress ps has Gus done a taste test on the powdered milk and calf meal yet🙂
