Jocelyn feels like a rather natural counter to Ringmaster; straightforward, down to earth, able to stay on topic, and quietly also really likes violence. Would love for her to return in later episodes.
Jocelyn is 100% unironically the best part of the DBX series, already. I cheered aloud when she showed up.

Well, considering what Ringmaster said about her joining it seems like she will be. Which is great, I've missed her.
Jocelyn would seem to be wiz's wife because they seem to be the same person, just gender-swapped.
I honestly thought Jocelyn was a character Wiz and Boomstick made up as an occasional excuse to take a break from the show. But wowie wow wow, I’m impressed!!! 😁😁😁😁😁
This was phenomenal, this fight was so chaotic and was better than I could imagine. And it was great seeing Jocelyn back on the channel. Honestly new best episode of the season. Fantastic way to end the season.

@@norisa4850 I liked it. If you pay close attention, they briefly show that Ness's Level of Violence is 19. Besides he saved before the fight.
This is the best DBX of the season by far. You really went all out for the finale, and it shows. Plus, Jocelyn seems like a natural fit for DBX, right alongside Ringmaster. Great season guys, can't wait for the return in September!

A thing I noticed!
The Alternate Ending of the Fight is actually significantly shorter.
Abruptly ending the Shattering scene to have Goomba dodge an attack, letting Loops pretty much take itself out in an admittedly odd way.
I think Koopa's ending was the one they put more thought into, due to Koopa probably being the one who'd probably actually win the rematch if this was researched. (Superior defenses, more equipment, and the fact that a Goomba has far FAR too many weaknesses to count..) and considering this IS a rematch, I feel that's honestly really cool!
Goomba's own their own stores in monstrotown. They have their own fare share of equipment.
The force of its momentum forced its head out while burrowing causing it to scrape its skin off

It even had the "FIGHT" and the "KO" announcement, my guess is the animators wanted this to be an actual remake of the 1st one instead of half assing it like a lot of other DBXs

I just realized, the Goomba shoe went with the Koopa as it went through time and stopped with Green Lantern. That gave him the idea to crush Ben with the big boot

My headcanon for why Koopas and Goombas aren't like this in game is because they're too mellow.
Goombas have their coffee and Koopas finish their Gameboy games before a long day of work.

That was surprisingly a very epic battle between the most recognizable goons from Mario Bros.
These two particular Goomba and Koopa have shown more power than any Dragon Ball franchise character.
Legitimately the best DBX; the action, music, and humor were too good!

Really hope Eggman Vs Wily gets this treatment one day. I think Eggman Vs Wily II is much better as a DBX than a death battle due to Eggman having Cortex and Bowser as his most requested matchups.
@@turbobist2889 Eh. Eggman vs Wily is honestly a better matchup. Especially with the whole Mega Man and Sonic crossover in the Archie comics and them being friends. Bowser only exists because “Nintendo vs Sega” even though...one uses machines and the other uses minions or himself. Cortex isn’t really fair either.

This has really made me realize that in almost every scenario, Goombas are the Power troops and Koopas are the defenders.
Moral of the story: Ruin a minion’s drink and you can get away with it. Also, notice the Fight byte is back! I think it is just there to reference the first Goomba vs Koopa fight back in season 1 of Death Battle, but it would be sweet to see again in later Death Battle fights.

You know we always make fun of mario and other characters getting killed by these guys
But we should remember these guys can fly,have giant shoes that could stomp any normal human being like a bug,have a whole damn army of themselves,and have bigger forms of themselves that are several times larger than mario (who's nearly 6 feet)

Bendy VS Cuphead
This is actually the best DBX, and at least one of the 20 best animated battles. It has a really good flow of consistency. It slowly elevates on the "power scale" just as Chuck Norris vs Segata did, but even better.
If this is what one lowly koopa and goomba can do then an army of them is practically unstoppable so we'll see how that goes with the Browser vs Eggman death battle.

With death battles, the animators are limited to personal feats of each fighter and their abilities. This fight is so stupid and limitless they the animators can just go crazy

This had to be the most Shonen fight DBX has ever done.
This gave me flash backs too Mario Bros Z. This was the best DBX made. Also i love how we see somethings from Death Battle like the Flash vs Sonic.
Jocelyn is really like the exact opposite of Ringmaster, so this is an interesting team up

I agree, they all had the ability to time travel (not sure about archie sonic) and their reactions to a green turtle shell moving at hyperspeeds while time traveling are hilarious and koopa's killing blow was similar to wally west's

This fight was perfect is every conceivable way, Amazing visuals, Insanely Thoughtful sound design, a long fight that always kept me guessing, and an absurd and satisfying climactic finale, I REEEEAAALLLY want to see more like this and I love it so much, all of the props to everyone involved!!!

Missed opportunity to say “Here We Go!” but otherwise this is one of DBX’s best.
Well, they said "FIGHT!" instead. And they also put the "KO!" at the ending of this exibition.
It's the callback to the original death battle, honestly, I'm glad they did that.
Just goes to show that the animators can make even the weakest of characters have some of the most incredible fights ever conceived. Damn, that koopa really be edgy
