What a unique ride. Expensive but unique.
The Lancia Delta Integrale has been one of my favorite cars since I first saw it in European car magazines over 25 years ago, despite it being one of the "forbidden fruits" we were never able to get our hands on. This particular manifestation of the car is simply sublime and beyond words... I can only praise the designers and fabricators (and those who funded the whole project!), and offer them a sincere "thank you" for making this car a reality. And thank *you*, Larry, for filming this episode and sharing this gorgeous creation with the rest of the car crazy world.

Always loved the look of the delta but never loved the fact it was 5doors like i do with every hatchback, this delta is simply perfect to me.Great job👍
It would look so much better if the B pillar had been moved back and the doors lengthened. Just how all other 3 door hatches have longer doors than the front doors on 5 doors of the same model. Definitely more work but would be so worth it.
I'm sure the next time he builds a car he will remember this invaluable advice you've just gave him...

I’ve been obsessed with these cars for a long time. I’ve been looking at the prices in various countries. It was super random to see you post a video like this. It was perfect timing lol. In the US, the automotive UA-camrs have been hooked on JDM cars. Which I’m also a JDM nerd, but I wish people would be different sometimes and build a sick rally hatch. A lot of them don’t though because they drift. I know it’s more money and time, but I can’t wrap my head around why more of them that drift at events like GridLife don’t build a sick time attack car to drive at the event as well. Having both kinds of content and to have a presence at an event with a sick build will only help you market your business to new audiences. You can have your jdm drifting audience and some viewers that love European race cars Thanks for the great video Larry.

@@410kane The price of and insurance on anything old and reasonably clean has gotten nuts. Doubly if they are popular and forget anything even semi rare or properly clean.
@@dzzopeclassic car insurance honestly isn’t bad. It’s cheaper than most regular insurance. This being a high valued collectors item is probably much different.
Wont be seeing any of these around for sure. .. these super rare cars getting makeovers and restoration is nice but sad that these are just that: rare super exclusives. made with amazing attention to detail by extremely talented people making it almost completely bespoke. Just perfect restoration and design work. Bitter sweet, but phenomenal regardless Mr. Amos delivers 🔥

The proportions remind me strongly of the GR Yaris. The performance is also easy to achieve there with a little tuning, but all for a fraction of the price. Therefore, your vehicle is probably more for very wealthy enthusiasts, everyone else takes the GR Yaris ;) Nevertheless, very cool project!

Ridiculously sexy, I'll need one custom though, definitely all one color with certain areas of the carbon peeking out (not the full front clip like that, potentially just the headlight buckets and grille surround ECT), something light with an ultra fine metallic, and definitely much wider than that, I think we need a 295mm squared setup on some 19x11's, let's get those fenders boxed further out to get those fitted right 👌😉

Looks good but I can tell it’s shortened. Doesn’t have the right proportions. If i could have them recreate one, id keep,the 4 doors and I’d have to drop it a few inches and add the Martini livery and OZ wheels. Great job Amos.

Looks like they just welded up the rear doors, to make a real 3 door. the front doors need stretching as the proportions don't look right.

It is really odd to me that some of the best group B rally cars were 4 doors... i get they had "homologation" but still lol it should've been this way all along.
At this point they should have made the engine north and south with rear wheel biased 4wd.
Without watching the video I'm guessing it's powered by a modern alfa or vw 2.0T n dct trans...

Some nice engineering details, but the original car is so much better looking. The problem with the three-door conversion is that the front door is not long enough, so it looks like the rear doors have just been welded up. Maturo make a restomod Delta which is much nicer in my view
This sort of stuff blurs the line between Motorsport and Art.
If you're going to all that effort then why keep the factory door? They are too short and ruin the proportions. Looks so goofy.
In 1986 i saw a fiberglass rebuilt delta in Italy with rear engine and a Two Door very nice body with perfect proportions

Unfortunately it's a shame that will likely be the sad fate of the very few cars they produce.. It's (over) engineered to race, but too expensive and rare to bring out of the garage regularily. 🤣

@@MrIke303 Anyone who would rather pick up a Honda Type R/S is probably too young to get it 😅. The Honda will be depreciating like hell over the next few years (till it becomes rare in like 20 years if you're lucky), where-as this car will never lose value and will probably appreciate like crazy if anything.
Yes, I like this car in spirit and execution, BUT $350,000 and no mid engine ? I had a 2017 Ford Focus RS for $38,000, and I would race this thing on any Vermont dirt or snow covered road. So much fun, and it never saw the inside of a garage. Too much money, not enough fun !

I still have my intergrale, in red, broken 3rd gear and will be getting it fixed hopefully straight cut gears to match the high bhp engine it has now, this car is perfect and would be better if it had carbon roof, roll cage, buckets and big rear diffuser and under panels. Looks gorgeous
