Love it however, I think those piers should not be industrial. Our piers in Chicago had like tourist spots. Navy pier which includes like a Farris wheel, shopping Eating, etc. boat docks for people who want to go out to water. We have an aquarium and blah blah, I think if that’s part of downtown, it should not be made industrial.
You just removed the canal. Why would you remove something like that? ⁉👿

Loved this episode! I was thinking, having some low density around the lake next to the gated community would look pretty cool. The lake would also help make the low density feel expensive and add to the land value and it would make a pretty cool neighbourhood.
Definitely enjoyed the buildout of the area... but 14 intersections, with cross walks, on that new water frontage downtown area. Yeah, no thanks to driving anywhere near that area lol
That's kind of the point. It's to promote walking not driving.

Its totally normal to have intersections that aren't perfect. as double islands exist. many things like that exist.
Nice build. You might already know this, but you can control road priority by deleting the road you don't want zoning on, zone, let the buildings grow, then rebuild the road.

I’m a little confused by the zoning issue. I do understand why a zoning adjuster would be useful, and using paths to clear zoning does make sense, but couldn’t you just not zone in that space? Like, instead of a path, just leave it blank? Or does that cause some sort of issue?
The blocks are automatically assigned off of the road. Without the pathway I wouldn't be able to get full zoning. This a mod like zoning adjuster would allow us to get full zoning off of specific roads. Hope this helps
