Frank deserves to be in every jazz encyclopedia written and published from the early 1950's onward. He's my favorite bone player of all time, just listen to him on a few cuts and he may be your favorite too if he isn't already. RIP Frank.
@@theace110013 I know too well because the one child that survived the gunshot is now in his 50s or 60s and hes a good coworker and friend of mine, he may have lost his eyesight but hes a great guy and a great musician
For me Frank Rosolino had it all-chops, technique , and an improvisational style that was and still unequalled . I loved hearing one of his burnin' solos on an up tempo big band piece! Seeing Frank and Carl Fontana together would have been an unforgettable event!!!
