I took French 1 and French 2 in high school, and believe it or not, this was not something we covered. Thank God for the internet, and thank you for sharing this knowledge with us. I'm excited to improve my French level to (hopefully!!!) B1 or B2 soon!
Alot of English people pronounce "pronunciation" incorrectly. I see you speak better English than many English people :) :). Je vous remercie pour votre attention au détail.
True! Also, a lot of English people spell "a lot" wrong as it's two words, not "alot." It shows that she speaks better English than most English people. It's sad, but I know many more English people are listening in school to spell and pronounce better.
Well the other pronunciation of the word is an accent thing, doesn’t mean they’re saying it wrong. I used to say it the other way but when I learnt to spell it pronunciation instead of pronounciation I automatically began pronouncing it pronunciation
Bonjour madam J M'appelle Singh Aditya Rana mon âge est de 13 ans. je veux to join the website but it is not opening can toi tell me what moi can do? Please
Thank you, sincerely thank you! I struggle with saying the endings, even though I understand the construction and this helped significantly. Now I need to master how to say the conditional endings. Learning French is a journey, and I am loving it - but it is humbling! Thank you again!
It's not difficult : you take the infinitive of the verb and you add always the same "terminaisons" at the end. -ai, -as, -a, -ons, -ez, -ont. In french "will" doesn't exist, we have to put letters at the end of the verb. The only difficulty is irregular verbs because the infinitive form changes when it is conjugated.
That is very true! In some textbooks, you don’t see “on”. On” is generally “we” in casual conversation rather than the formal “nous”. On sort ce soir. We’re going out this evening. It’s also used to mean “one” when making general statements like “ on ne doit pas insulter ses parents”. One must not insult their parents. On other occasions “on” could mean all the other subject pronouns ( he, she, it, you, they etc) depending on the context. I’m a French teacher by the way and can help you with other questions.
Salut Tonteen Alexa.I just wanted to ask. How do you use “Franchement” in a sentence. And what does it mean. Bcz many French people use it and I'm really confuse. Thanks.
“ franchement” means “frankly”. 1. Franchement, je ne veux pas accepter ce salaire. Frankly, I don’t want to accept this salary. 2. Il est obligatoire de répondre franchement aux questions suivantes. It’s compulsory to answer the following questions frankly. I’m a French teacher by the way. I can help with other questions too.
