R is already there at the end of the infinitive verb form... Parler.... Regarder.... Finir..... Prendr.... (We drop e from -re ending verbs) The irregular verbs also have R at the end (see the irregular verb forms of avoir, savoir, aller, être) Aur... Saur.... Ir.... Ser...

In conjugations, we drop 'e' from je only if the next word starts with a vowel.
