I just finished my second season of using it to mulch/bag leaves. It started every time even on days when it was 40 degrees or colder. Hope you have as good of service as I have had.
The mower comes with a small charger that plugs into a wall outlet. A cord from the charger connects to a connector on the mower. The connector on the mower is located near the blue start switch. The red LED indicator shows the battery being charged. It will turn green when the mower battery is charged. I hope this answers your question.
Ted, Thanks for the question. You could use a 12v battery charger to charge the battery. It might be a little work to connect it to the battery. Perhaps an auto parts store would have a connector that would connect to the Toro charger connector. The charger Toro recommends is part # 136-9126. Its pretty expensive (approx. $36 from Toro and approx. $20 from Amazon).
Yes I am still using it. My mowing season is usually from late March to late November. It has gotten quite a workout. Still starts reliably. Only one problem so far. There is a 40 amp fuse located on the battery and it went bad. Took 10 minutes to figure out and replace it.
hi just picked up one like this at a moving sale do you need to charge something i didnt see a battery and the little blue push button just popped out. before i fiddle with it thought i'de ask thx
Ted Mine wouldn't start last week and it turns it was the fuse installed with the battery. Of course with your switch not working properly that could be the culprit. Toro has a good customer service #. You could contact them for help.
I'm waiting for the investigators to see what happened in my barn that blew up a few hours ago. I do believe that there may have been a problem with the ignition on The push button lawn mower in it. It's a bummer. I loved this lawn mower. This is reality right here. Beware if you bought one. If a chipmunk fired it up and it blew up or something, pardon my assumptions, but we got some issues with the system, maybe... 🫰
very short, clear and useful!!! Thank you !
Glad it was helpful!
This is one of the best reviews I've seen this far for this mower, I actually went to Home Depot today and picked this up today thank you.
Just got one yesterday. can't wait to use it. won't stop raining. Arrrrgh
Thank you! Just got one of these and this was very helpful.

I dont have the charger to charge the battery. Can I just use a 12v battery charger to charge it?

Are you still using this mower today? If so how is it? Is it still running great? I just bought it.

@@HowItWorks1 Ahh, so the push to start does go bad? In the battery charger package I saw an extra fuse taped to it. Is it an extra?

is that mower available with high rear weals?
I knew a rope free lawn mower had to exist
I've had mine a few seasons and the battery still starts the mower even in cold weather
Hello there , quick question does this mower needs a charger for the electric start ?
The charger comes with the mower.
@@HowItWorks1 have you any issue with the mechanism? Does it still hold up? “Push start”
The push button stopped working after the first season. The button just sinks. No start. Manual start is good.
