As the title suggests. A good excuse to get the lads and ladette's together and go on a road trip to experience the thundering hooves on the dusty track. A bloody good time and something for everyone. From the classic horse races to gymkhana as well as the moto gymkhana. Very entertaining and a great time. Always the last weekend of August each year. Put it on your list.

Great events out that way. I remember a commentator somewhere calling a race. It went a bit like this, Where away what a great field today ladies and gentlemen. Here they come up the final stretch. Cabbage is leading by a head, chewing gum is sticking to the rail and tail is bringing up the rear or something like that. Good old bush humor.
Haha brilliant!!! Ol mate commentating at this shindig is hilarious. He's the manager of Gidgealpa station and is a great bloke and a funny bugger.
