  • In this video, I talk about how to catch rainbow trout in Dragon Lake, BC. The first part of the video is where you will learn about how to fish for trout. The second part of the video is where you will see a sampling of some of the fish I caught in one day on the water. Look for my OUCH! moment.

Enjoy your video's, have identical boat and motor as yours, just wondering if you ever did a compression test on the outboard?

Glad you like my videos. No, I haven't done a compression test. I bought a new gas tank and hose a while back and it helped.

This was this past fall in September. There were plenty of fish around, but I only caught a few of the larger fish each trip. The bigger fish were more elusive this year. Stay tuned. I have a few more videos coming from this fall on Dragon.

@FougereFamilyAdventures Sounds good. Have you ever tried ice fishing Dragon?

@Unknownbrand yes. I used to ice fish Dragon well before I had an ice fishing tent and heater. Over the last couple years, I have chosen to target fish that I can take home to feed my family, so Dragon is out for now.

Awesome vid. Only got down there twice but ere both awesome dry fly visits. Missed the fall spoon fishing, you smash them every year! Is the lake froze up for ice fishing yet?
