- In this video I show you how to deal with the ambush predator which can rip you from your mount and drag you underwater and refuses to let you go, the Krapro. I mean Kapro. It's not too bad, but it can be made easier if you know how they work and what they do.
You wake up in the middle of nowhere, maybe it's a beach, a mountain, a forest, or a jungle, but it is no place that you have known. There is a strange device implanted into your arm. Welcome to the ark. The place where long extinct creatures eat you while you feebly try to survive. This series is my attempt to show you little things that will help you flourish.

they’re can be very annoying if there’s a raptor or worse, carno nearby..

I always go ptera -> argy-> quetz or in ragnarok ptera -> argy -> griffin -> quetz/wyvern. With argy you can grab most small creature and drop them into pen, with quetz/wyvern most medium and some large dino can also be grabbed. Or if you think flyers are kinda cheating, tame a galimimus.

Bruh it's easy to tame I tamed kaprosuchus with using 10 tranq and it torpor those 2 kaprosuchus

I wanted to tame a level 28 (30 is the highest I can find) but it was injured and I accidentally killed it with my spino’s footsteps so went to the obelisc and revived it, somehow I don’t feel happy about it, but it’s really fun when going down hill with it’s leap ability, like riding a flying squirrel XD

As long as you have decent flak armor and 200 HP, letting them grab you isn't very risky, provided you cleared other threats before engaging.
Quite annoying that you can't carry these with even a Quetzal anymore.
What they changed that

tip : if you have an health with an full primitve hide armor, you can knock a level 50 kapro with bare hands

Not sure about others, but personally I have seen kapros sometimes bouncing off walls or rocks when lunging, increasing their jump height and grabbing me on creatures taller or around the height than barys
I got mine into a jumble with a couple (tame) Yutys and a Rex and tried to jump him out of it... The Kapro went flying up, up into the sky with me on its back. I'm sure the fall damage would have killed him if I didn't suicide jump myself.

Wasn’t planning on taming one of these, but I found a max level so I had to, then I found a 280 female extremely quickly and bred them. Took forever for the baby to grow up and I had to spend a bit of Amber, but now I have an op kapro.

kapro's are mid game dino's and i definetly recommend it for mid game players,if your on pc you can tame it whenever for the fun of it but on mobile and if you dont have pp(primal pass not your small one) than plan on your taming

First time I tamed one was first time I played on extinction in the swamp in the middle of the map, I went to get wood from beaver dams and got caught, I had my taming kit so in self defense I shot the kapro and turned out to be tranq arrows so it got knocked out and I just tamed it, it was like my second week into ark and my only meat eating Dino that I tamed besides pteranodons dilos and raptors

Large animal poop
And, Rare flower
You are gonna need 100 narcos per hour and the saddle is at level 75

For me it was pretty easy i just tranqed it while it was eating a corpse and fed it some meat the only problem for me was how much predators are in the swamp
i assume you get just use wooden clubs after they jumped on you

I did try taming it on procoptodon but it failed, why? Cuz ur kapro have achatina in jaw so it cant grab you
Also luring to trap doesnt work well cuz kapro have low agro distance and when hes going after you he ill propably jump on you or lose agro
Lol english isn't my first language I thought you pronounced kaprosuchus like this kah-pro-such-us I didn't know it was pronounced kah-pro-su-cus
I just flew around with my pteranodon and it jumped on me so i tried hitting it with my sword and it fell unconscious because it was lvl 7 lol so i tamed it and named it jumper

Next tips and tricks it's sarcosuchus
DO NOT USE SLINGSHOT it will kill it. Ive done it 4 times trying and killed it each time
Me and my friend caught ours when it latched on to him and he punched it till it tamed
How do the aggressive dinos not see you and attack you
0:34 you are using a tapejara pictures, i just realized
They are alpha killers if near deep water. I killed my first alpha rex on one.
If you don't have a taller dino when kaprosuchus in high place you will get grab by kaprosuchus such as rex diplodocus spino allosaurus and paraceratherium you'll need a taller dino as bronto giganotosaurus and titanosaur when kaprosuchus in high place jump out on you will not get off the rider when it grab
No kaprosuchus cant grab me of spino i tried it, only of rex and smaller, spino is probably too big lol
Also spino is best way to tame kapro just make him follow you he can not grab you and lure him into trap
Also kapro, baryonyx, sarco and much more are scared of spino when you ride it, they dont aggro on you spino is best
Even a rex
Just be aware of allosaur, carno, raptor, therizino and other spino
I like how I almost used a raptor but I was like he looks small to a kapro so I used a carno
I tamed my by acident i knocket it put with arrows while it grabbed me and puted food i thinked it wild die but no and it showed that is tamed and i pickes it up with argy
here is an easier way to tame a kappasuch is find a good ledge have some trank arrows use normal meat and hopefully you would probably not need some narcotics
Yep when tame a raptor it's time to explore swamp 😅. But some cases I tame parasaur.

i try to tame a doedicurus in along time before the patch note mobile the kapro came out of no were i punch it feed it raw fish are better then regular kibble

I have tamed a kapro with raw meat on scorched earth. Is it different on scorched earth than on the island? If it isn't different, why isn't raw meat on the list?
