    There are a few videos about building the Academy Pz. III Ausf. J, but your series is far and away the best.

    It was so beautiful, I was reticent to to see it weathered, but I would have done it also. Fascinating to watch. Weathering the model is the difference in realism

    One model I’ve never built and I’ve built a few as a kid and recently since the first lockdown !! Not sure if you do shows or displays if you don’t you should “Yoda” 👍🏻 But that’s the joy I think of your modelling very informative videos and great end results all the time for even the basic modeller who’s getting started some simple tips goes a long way along in my book thank you 🙏 👍🏻🍻

      Thanks.......I thin 50/50 with their thinner 👍

    Wery beutiful work! May I ask why you are using AK 3rd gen acrylic and not the AK real color lacquers? Athleast in my opinion using paints like Tamiya, Mr color or similar lacquers thinned with leveling thinner will almost never give you any problems. No dry tip, spattering etc.

    • @CWModelling
      @CWModelling  2 роки тому +1

      Thanks......its because I am trying to eliminate the use of solvent thinners in my hobby room and both Real Color and Tamiya are solvent based of sorts.....AK 3rd Gen offers a purely water based acrylic solution which is better for me👍

      @@CWModelling I do all my solvent spraying at my local hobbyclub so I dont need to stink out my room.

    Why haven't you just hand-painted the white "water markings" on the jerricans ? As they would have done in the field ... I mean, by now I know you're crazy, considering the effort you put into every (absolute outstanding) diorama. 🙂
    Can't wait to see the whole thing coming together. Cheers !

    Looking really good mate 👍
    I've tried making my own sand bags and tarps out of green stuff but no matter how much I soak my hands and tools it just sticks to everything and they turned out absolutely shite 😂.
    Any tips?

    • @soap1715
      @soap1715 2 роки тому +1

      I’ve heard that using flour helps, I also soak my blue and yellow stuff in water and when I mix them use wax paper and surgical gloves. I’ve used flour with miliput and it works great, yet to try it with green stuff however. Another tip would be to wrap what you are sculpting in clear wrap and use silicon sculpting tools. Hope this helps 🙂

    • @allanatwick1606
      @allanatwick1606 2 роки тому

      @@soap1715 cheers luke, much appreciated, I'll give it a go.
      I've seen someone use corn starch on miliput but I've never seen anyone use anything other than water on green stuff.
      When I used to glaze windows with putty it would stick to your hands unless they were perfectly clean so I stubbed them but it still stuck.
      I'll definitely give the flour a go though. 👍
