Ninja Reveals Cancer Diagnosis

- One of the worlds biggest content creators has cancer Ninja is a pioneer of the streaming community. He has used his success to raise millions of dollars for charity, and was arguably the first streamer to break the mainstream media barrier. But late last night Tyler announced on X that during a doctors appointment, a mole was removed from the bottom of his foot as a precaution. Unfortunately, the results have shown he’s suffering from a form of cancer called melanoma. He’s now awaiting further news after another section of his skin was taken, in hope that all of the cancer has now been removed. He closed his statement to try and raise awareness to check your skin for anything that doesn't seem regular. We all send our best wishes to Tyler.

Just a reminder that not every cancer is deadly! Yes, it's a disease and it will cause some harm, but it won't always necessarily kill you.
Obviously I'm unsure of how severe Ninja's case is, but I'm just hoping it isn't deadly. Even if I haven't really watched him, it still hurts to see a big & recognisable content creator going through pain.

DISCLAIMER: Ninja has NOT been diagnosed with cancer, he has been diagnosed with melanoma (skin cancer). It is curable and luckily they found it at the earliest stage, meaning he will likely recover by next year.

Why does cancer exist? It's something that happens when your cells get infected beyond repair and the body can't tell so it uses that infected cell to make more but since it's infected, it creates infected duplicates.

i have this spot on my lip and it keeps bursting and bleeding everywhere, this makes me aware that i need to go get it checked out, and that’s what i’m doing
It’s nothing to check out about usually. It’s just if you keep itching it alot or it depends what you eat/drink. It’s happened to me lots of times but it’s really just a spot that may be annoying but if you don’t scratch it you’ll be fine.

Ehhh in the early stages, its fairly easy to remove and doesn't normally require very invasive surgeries (aka you don't need full anaesthesia for removal) but it has one of the worst survivability rates once it progresses and spreads
