I did this bujo spread not knowing what the game was, just thought it was a cute idea. Then I was at work looking for coloring pages for my students and OMG! they saw the Among Us characters and now that is all they want to color. They have even started cutting them out and acting out their own game. If I wasn't their favorite teacher, I am now. Thank you Amanda for helping me create my bujo and connecting with me students. You’d see people walking around with their phones and talking about Pokémon Go together every time you went outside.
I've never played Among Us and I don't know any of the references but I always love watching your videos because I love your style and I also love getting ideas for my own journal (whether it's a color scheme or a layout idea, etc!) I loved how colorful this one was :)

What I meant is that acnh came in the beginning of a pandemic where everyone needed an escape to the real world and people were able to meet each other on the island. And even though it is expensive and not everyone can afford it, there were still more than 22.000.000 people who played it so it just feels different to among us :)

Just as a PSA though, I’ve noticed that a lot of people have been saying that we should just forget about 2020, and I wanted to remind everyone that some people have lost family and friends because if this pandemic and we are very fortunate in even being able to consider “forgetting” this year. So, let’s just be mindful to remember those who are less fortunate than us and refrain from saying these things often.

This is such a fun theme and I can’t wait to finish my recreation of it today/tomorrow! I love the game and was thinking of doing it as a theme this month anyways so being able to recreate Amanda’s spreads makes me really happy.
