BEST Tacoma Exhaust! The First REAL Dual Exhaust made for Offroad - by AWE Tuning

- This is probably the best sounding exhaust I've ever heard for the Tacoma. It's tough to make these trucks sound decent. I've heard plenty of other exhaust systems and even had a Carven exhaust for a while, but this is the best all around exhaust for the Tacoma in my opinion.
Literally 0 drone, with a nice, deep tone that isn't too loud and obnoxious. And what's even better, it it's the first true catback dual exhaust on the market. Most use a Y pipe to join the 2 pipes together, but this system flows continuously in 2 separate pipes for the entire length of the exhaust. So stoked on this!
AWE Exhaust:

According to AWE, there’s a slight increase in power. Much better flow. It’s fairly minimal gains, but still better than nothing.

Just asking this question in general for anyone that might know. Is there a cat shield system that is compatible with quality skid plates or a skid plate that can act as a cat shield? One that could do both would be sweet, maybe a product that backwoods could manufacture and sell?

@@bootmender I’m sorry to hear that. Please remember that this is 38 years later. Vehicles emissions have come a looooong way. This also still exits well behind the cab.

@@ArkansasOffroadno not your shop, your exhaust stops way up under your truck and if circumstances were right CARBON MONOXIDE is an orderless colorless GAS that can kill you. Next time go to a muffler shop that will welds your exhaust pipe up and extends it to the end of the bed of your truck like the law requires them to do. If you sit in deep snow or water that is up to your floorboards where are the fumes going but up. I know your from arkansaw but damm where did you go to school? My wife was a teacher at sylvan Hills middle school where they had to evacuate the school because kids were getting sick, 1991. I have been running hot rods and 4x4’s for more than 60 years now and as I stated before my brother died in Illinois sitting in his parked car running trying to stay warm.
