2:16 Makes me really happy that inspiration in these games goes both ways. Especially music, it's really close to my heart so musical references give me a huge stupid grin. I recently started an RS3 iron with my only experience being that I rushed curses on a main. I mainly play OSRS and am excited to see how some storylines diverge or converge with their RS3 equivalents.
I like that Scabaras was respected by Tumeken and even Amascut enough to be the one they sought out for sagacity despite arguably being of far lesser power than most of the Pantheon, and they both clearly trusted his judgement. Him keeping tabs on Osman's duplicity and leading Amascut on a wild goose chase for thousands of years only for her to find out after all this time that he sacrificed his gift from Tumeken long ago because he knew the dangers it represented shows his ingenuity and utilizing his godly powers in a way we haven't seen from a deity in RS, working smarter when he is at a clear disadvantage on a power level and a lack of allies due to propaganda against him. Truly fitting of the God of Wisdom epithet. I hope he tears Osman a new one.
Really hope we get a spooky version of Amascut's Promise for the final battle. That weird fusion of Middle Eastern and drone-y synth for the first bit would sound great in the RS3 style.
Thanks for letting us know this is inspired by osrs. You've saved me 6 minutes of listening to what ultimately is garbage. Nothing that comes from osrs will ever be good. It's a filthy game and a filthier community. I would eagerly sacrifice all of my accounts in all the games I've ever played if it meant the apes who play osrs would lose their precious game they keep masturbating over.

i recognise the melody at 3:02 from the Test of Isolation/A Mother's Curse from OSRS (the path of Scabaras in the Tombs of Amascut raid)

@@flushed5747 It shall be to Amascut's Promise what Glory of Combat is to Inferno.
Here's hoping.

Scabaras, world champion of running circles around people without moving from his spot for the past 8,000 years
Wow this is nice! Soothing! I could sleep to this! I need to get back to RS, haven't played since 2 years ago. ☹️
between this and Icthlarin's Lament from the previous quest, I really like the tone they're going for with this arc
Shit sounds so dope man
I love this music!
did this temple get desecrated too?
Two rules of in RS lore: all plagues are fake and all temples get desecrated.
It's all fun and games until you hear that one ascending string opening note of Temple Desecrated.
It's serving Act 2 of Diablo II and I'm here for it
Good quest
