This one grooves a lot more. I like it. Tho, it might be good to get your hands on a proper bass.. a 5 string maybe? The downtuning doesn't quit catch up to the rest of the recording and sounds a bit muddy (unless that is intended ofc). Anyhow, great song yet again!
Hi! all guitar and bass tracks were recorded through an old PODx3 into my Scarlett2i4, I normally don't use a POD but mainly free ampsims lately, and quite some EQ, played with a Schecter Demon7FR and a crappy old JazzBass imitation, SuperiorDrummer for the drums on this track.
I think that's the pre-eq (for extra scoop), I tried with a cocked wah before but results were not ideal... but pre EQ (eq is the first pedal in the chain) helps me a lot, and digging deep in the lower notes giving them space to resonate into the song... happens that I use X2N7's pickups and I have to remove hell of a LOT of tone from it... hope that helps!
