Initially I thought this was overpriced compared to PI 400 setup or even dedicated systems like C64 Maxi / A500 Maxi. But if you considered everything that is included, it's a decent price. However, I'd like to see a cheaper and more slimmed down version JUST for emulation without Windows, 2TB HDD, 4GB not 8GB of RAM for say 180 Euros would be much more attractive. Most people wont be buying thing for the extra media functions that are already handled by devices people have.
PI 4\400 cannot into PS2 and gamecube, due to the low specs (they also pricey today). Dolphin partly playable with overclocking. Hope pi 5 will do good with ps2, dolphin, and cube. If so raspberry PI5 it will be really good thing to have.

I had almost all the main consoles from Commodore 64 through to mega drive , snes , but my favourite was Dreamcast because my local video shop that was the absolute most excellent shop in history sold pirate videos and dvd’s before the china men started doing it . But also sold pirated Dreamcast games Evan Japanese ones that didn’t Evan come out in the west , I had literally every game with playing , they cost from £4 - £15 , those were the days
Dreamcast sounded like a jet engine !.I had to turn up the volume so i could hear the dialogue in some games. But then my neighbours got pissed and banged at the wall instead !. Some year later,i sold it cheaply to a poor (a little retarded kind of) guy. Yet a little later i got me "The old black"/Original Xbox, and i fell in love with it the first evening ! (a little noicy too,but in a acceptable way).. The Dreamcast had AMAZING racing games for its time though.Better than arcade quality from the era i think. The controllers was excellent for my hands too.
When the N64 came out, my parents bought it me and my brother for Christmas. I sneaked it out of the box like a ninja every day for about a month and practised ISS loads. Kicked his arse on Christmas Day 😂😂😂
Dude, you're a fan of the retro wrestling games too! Good times! I've got to get one of these! Do you know if the games are NTSC or PAL... or both? Thanks for showing this off!
Damn... I won't mind getting this.. i only saw your vid today... I think 1 year would still be not enough to play all the games... Very good.. i didn't mind you going through N64 and Game cube libraries etc as it made me excited on the games included. And it did not disappoint!
Thank you for uploading this walkthrough. If you have the time, can you please confirm if this console has the following games? MAME • The Simpsons: The Arcade Game • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Arcade Game • WWF Wrestlefest • X-Men: The Arcade Game
Nothing good is available in the US. We are literally Tijunan Mexico and it's by design. Actually, that's too polite. We are literally emulating everything bad Venezuela has done.
We called it ISS in Germany too. One of the most fun I ever had with a footballgame. this little pc seems like a great collection. I guess there are many duplicates, but you should be able to find plenty of games to play though. I think I put it on my wishlist now! Thank you for your review.
Would be cool if they upgraded the hardware to handle PS2 games better, I’d happily pay the extra cost. Having owned this for a few months now, I’ve had no problems with the other systems. PS2 struggles though on some games.

This is great if you want everything in 1 system, but to be honest all the handheld consoles can be emulated on any phone or tablet released in the last 5 years and the console emulators can be played on pretty much any PC released in the last 5 years. The advantage of both is you can download your own roms for those emulators including rom hacks which if you've ever played a Game Boy emulator you know is as big as modding PC games. The only reason to really buy 1 of these retro machines would be if it came with emulators for PS3 and Xbox 360 as they are much more demanding and require gaming PCs to run successfully if you can even find good emulators to use for them.
i had times when my pc was nowhere near my living room (couch+tv), forcing me to use things like this. but sure, simply connecting pc to the tv, having a nice launchbox setup and maybe a usb hub with controllers near the tv is still the best.

Your Super Nes came with a street fighter game?! Lol mine had Mario World which was amazing to me. I'm pretty sure I got one within a year of it coming out maybe 2 at the most
I hate to be a party pooper but I saw the GPU on this mini PC and it's 2.0 ghz, that's about the same amount of power that the super console X and some of these other game boxes have. There's no way this thing can emulate PS2 and GameCube. I hope you didn't spend a lot of money on this thing! Great video though and great presentation!!!
As time passes more and more games just become services. It's rare to find the game that you can just pick up, finish, and be completely done with it. Every game now has dlc, continuous content, micro transactions, it's all a huge turn off for me personally. This is a very appealing gaming station for me as it is essentially designed to be a bunch of games you pick up play finish and move on from.
That’s a big thing for me too. I usually don’t bother with the DLC unless it’s a game I’ve really enjoyed. And I hardly play the same game twice unless I also really enjoyed it. Most of the time I play the campaign/story and once I’m finished I’m finished.
@@xWagnerPlaguesx The PS2 became more popular. Popularity is doesn't always equate to quality. The Dreamcast was still a better console despite the fact it never garnered as much attention.
My best friend and I are considering getting this today so we can play snes games together. I just wanna make sure online multiplayer is possible before my purchase.
Thanks for the review - The system it's very well, in this case the CPU it's the lack of performance, probably the same system with i3 will be great. Probably you can make a Acronis or Ghost of the image, and uploaded.
I was thinking the same thing about the processor. Personally I'd love to see a higher end AMD with GPU. You are right that you could clone it to another rig. Maybe the seller at some point would just sell a software package that you could load onto your own rig.
Why would there be lag? Sincere question, I don't know much about emulation but am a big retro fan, I collect all the old games and was thinking about this but wouldn't want lag either. Thanks!
@@hardbody2072 I think because it’s an “emulator” and not an original. I’m not sure but if you watch him play some games, it doesn’t have that original feel.
my issue is will each and every game on this system actually work or will there be errors and missing files especially since this aint the cheapest retro "console"
Yeah. I remember the first time I saw a review of one of these nano-PCs that used the Celery J4125. I looked it up on the UserBenchmark site to see how it compares to the CPU in my main system, an ancient FX-8350. I was shocked that it shows the 8350 kicking the shit out of the J4125. I know the Celery is the second-weakest CPU intel makes(Atom being the weakest of course). And it's a very low power CPU as well. But it's still based on recent Core architecture and released in 2019, while the 8350 came out in 2012. The J4125 has 4 cores and no HT while the 8350 has 8 cores and no SMT. I noticed that the J4125 has no L3 cache while the 8350 has 8MB which I am sure makes a difference. Anyways, my point is that although even a weak sauce x86 CPU like the J4125 beats the ass off of any Android box console, it's still not enough to emulate everything. They charge a fortune for these weak nano-PCs, while you can buy an old office PC for under a 100 bucks usually. Just get something with at LEAST a 3rd gen i5 or i7. The faster the clock speed the better, and an i7 over an i5 if you can get a good deal on it, since the old i7s had HT while the i5s didn't. The iGPUs in them won't be good enough, but you can put in an old gfx card to play the harder emulation stuff like PS2/Dreamcast.

First ever UA-cam video in 11 years to blow my mine
Initially I thought this was overpriced compared to PI 400 setup or even dedicated systems like C64 Maxi / A500 Maxi. But if you considered everything that is included, it's a decent price.
However, I'd like to see a cheaper and more slimmed down version JUST for emulation without Windows, 2TB HDD, 4GB not 8GB of RAM for say 180 Euros would be much more attractive. Most people wont be buying thing for the extra media functions that are already handled by devices people have.
I think ddr4 smallest size is 4GB doubling the bandwidth of the integrated graphics with eight GB probably helps with gaming performance
PI 4\400 cannot into PS2 and gamecube, due to the low specs (they also pricey today). Dolphin partly playable with overclocking. Hope pi 5 will do good with ps2, dolphin, and cube. If so raspberry PI5 it will be really good thing to have.

If you keep up on these things could you let me know the best unit to buy and I don't need the internet windows part either. I am 52 disabled from pain and have no life. And I have played all my PS4 RPGs to death already. I need variety. So please if you know of the best console to buy as of October 2022 for the most rpg choices and things like resident evil Zelda age of empires I would truly appreciate it thank you
You seem to know things. I am 52 and disabled from pain and need something to do. I just can't find any of these guys that day what the best one is for under 300 dollars or best one period. And none of these guys mention if there is a good selection of RPGs. Do you know the best machine out there? I am thinking from what I have seen deduced that it's between this console and the GT king with either 49 60 or 117 thousand games or the retro station GTX. Do you have a preference or is there something out there that I haven't seen? I saw one earlier that pretty much played everything well but it was 800 dollars. I would only play that if it could at all systems up to PS4
I really want go in time and play all my old games again 😁.

Well, this is what I've been waiting for 😵

Soo many memories in this.. MyGod! Got tears
If it had Wrestlemania 2000 & No Mercy I would've been sold! Great review
Those are must haves for me as well 🤷🏽♂️
When the N64 came out, my parents bought it me and my brother for Christmas. I sneaked it out of the box like a ninja every day for about a month and practised ISS loads. Kicked his arse on Christmas Day 😂😂😂

Great review. Do you know if it's available in the US? Would love to get one of these.
You bought this? Does it have lots of RPG type games? Can you save your games? I am 52 and disabled from pain so I need variety. I have played all my PS4 RPGs to death. Is this the best machine out there for under 300 dollars? Hopefully you respond thanks

Thanks for the detailed look! I've been looking at a lot of these emulation boxes and this one seems amazing with so many systems, literally all the ones I'd want.
RCPS3 is almost flawless ps3 emulation at this point

It rocks! Full box of memory.
you can just do this at no extra cost by downloading the emulators on your own pc on demand. much better than shelling out so much $$$

good luck getting those Nintendo ROMs in 2022 though. Emuparadise is done and I'm not about to give my computers HIV with shady rom sources....

That's what I'm wondering. Seeing a lot GC, WII, PS2 games that run poorly or don't run at all even with a good pc setup
Wow I'm speechless thanks for making this video
Very good system but not quite perfect as it appears that the PS2 emulation performance isnt at full speed, otherwise a really good product.
