Thank you for this fresh perspective about writing down memories in a memory book, 5-year journal. I purchased one from PaperBlanks and have been wondering how to use it and you framed perfectly the purpose of documenting memories. Now I need to get started. Thank you.

This might be my solution. I am so interested in journaling but keep skipping large amounts of time in between entries. I can do a few lines a day. I wish I knew about this in December of 2022 because my last year and a half has been quite the adventure. I did log regular journal entries but it would have been nice to see how my thoughts played out daily during that time. I agree that this would be a great Christmas present and set myself a reminder for presents this coming December. Your video was exceptional and inspirational.

You have cute kids, they look like they'll do good in life and make the world a better place. I've really enjoyed this video and I'm getting one off Ebay tomorrow. I'm a diarist and writing is my life. It's funny how just 5 hours ago I was contemplating buying one of these and after looking at your video it's like....yup I definitely want one of these now, first class. God bless you and your family. Take care.

@@SimplisticHappiness Hey thanks for the reply....and yup I got one in Nordic blue, just a shame I got it for March and not at the start of the year but I continually seek out inspiring videos to aid in my decision on what to purchase and I had found these in Waterstones a year or two ago but never needed it then. I'm a bus driver and I have nothing or no one so I just write in my diaries to keep me going. How's your diary coming along?

Loved this video. I use 'One line a day', and have almost finished my 2nd year. It's amazing all the small memories a book like this can keep, and it's so lovely to go back in time each day. I am asking Santa for a Leuchtturm 5 year bookl for gratitude journaling this year. All this in combination with a long form journal where I write and rant and stick daily ephemera into, and a bullet journal for short and sweet entries about my day to day life. I just love journaling. ;)

I finished my first 5 year journal (The Chronical books: One Line a Day) and started the new year with the "Some Lines a Day" journal and love it. I have a 6 month old baby so I'm so interested to see how this journal with turn out at the end of 5 years. :) I see this video is from 3 years ago, did you start a new "Some Lines a Day"?

I don’t use any special kind of pens. Just whatever I have around the house. Usually just a regular ball point pen.

Hey to everyone wondering it’s not really a 5 year journal... Only because it has 5 lines, so ... if you start in 2020 for example then mathematically you will end in 2025 but since they are only 5 lines you end in 2024 :/
    1. 2020
    2. 2021
    3. 2022
    4. 2023
    5. 2024
