Hi Dr Nemeth, I am considering getting laser periodontal treatment here in the UK. How many sessions and how often do you need the laser treatment? It's quite expensive so I wanted to know if it's 1a year or a few times a year so I can save enough money for it.
Not...
Is there a dentist in France who currently use The Pinhole Technique? I really need help with gums for 2 exposed implants. Thank you for any recommendations💫
@@miroir3va They do it in the UK now so you should be able to get it in France. I googled it to see if they did it here and found a few.

"Just eat more protein." And now I've had teeth shattered by dentists, lost teeth, and still dealing with intense recession! I've done EVERYTHING every dentist has suggested over the last decade! And my recession worsens! Please help! I don't want to lose my smile!
try salt water gargles and keeping it in your mouth for at least 30 seconds. Repeat 3 times a day. Floss your teeth. Brush the gums gently!! Use a calcium phosphate topical cream like Tooth Mousse. Hope this helps. Disclosure; I am a daughter of a dentist and I have found too much dental work by dentists cause too many problems. The less intervention from their tools the better (if you can avoid it!) Try the home remedies. Good luck!!

Sort of ignorant comment. You know that ALL dentists must sit for continuing education credits annually right? It's not that they do not KNOW about this technique. Honestly, this is not rocket science. They, for whatever reason choose NOT to do it. It probably makes them less money. It's often that simple. They will never tell you about it unless they can get something off of referring you. They claim that isnt how it works but thats nonsense.
They will only tell you that grafting is the only way so they can refer you to a periodontist and then from there you get bounced around until maximum money is extracted from you only to hear that the procedure has a high fail rate and long recovery with tons of instructions that mustbe followed. If you dont follow exactly they will say "it wsnt the procedure it was poor recovery management".
There has to be a better more certain way to repair recession.
I was here to understand the treatment itself and how it works! But this video was more about the results of their technique

hey doc, where or how can I get this done ?
I had this done by you a few years ago and didn’t get the best results. Slightly better than before but I still have recession on my lower teeth. It’s very upsetting to spend that much money and to go through a rough recovery and still have recession.
I have read that many many times the pinhole technique does not last. It fails. The only sure thing it does is make the Dr a lot of money.
I NEED THIS
How much it cost for th3 procedure
Does insurance tend to cover this pinhole technique surgery?
Interesting, I'll have to find out if there's someone in the area that does this technique. I know I had a gum graft when I was 18 that basically did nothing as they essentially put it below the area as was supposed to make it not get worse, which it hasn't but still looks bad and also doesn't provide any new stability to the tooth by giving it gum tissue to cover this. Thanks trying a new approach for patients, and I'm glad you've had some successful results Dr. Nemeth!
Can a dentist do this or will I have to go to a oral surgeon l?
This is fabulous!
Can you get the bone rebuilt, or have I been misinformed?
what is the pinhole technique?
Fyi to anyone watching my comment. I've undergone pinhole surgery and 6months later it looks like I've had nothing done. Don't do this technique it's a waste of money. I was super diligent with after surgery care. I'm a doctor myself. I've got it done in France
I have done it for 6500€ and a few weeks later it looks worse than before. My lower teeth got lose after the operation.

Omg after i got the clear aligner done 2 years ago. got gum recession and bone loss. I m only 49 years old. Before my teeth was perfect no any issue i only got a very mild unaline on the midle bottom teeth. If i have known about this bad impact I would never ever took teeth straighthening. 😢😢😢😢😢What can I do at this point. My teeth are intact and no any sensitivity on the gum yet.Plz advise😢😢😢😢Thank you.
It was likely due to the pressure the aligner put on your gums while straightening your teeth. This is common with braces too, but the orthodontists usually fail to mention anything about it and you can gue$$ why.
Once they fleece money from you for braces then they can send you to the periodontist as a referral and get even more money. The dental indstry (liek most medical now) is full of greed and doctors who have a lot of student loan debt, expense of malpractice insurance, office costs etc. They will say and do whatever they think they can to get more money but in such a way that they dont endanger their license outright. Its become more about business for them than about dentistry or helping (no matter how nice they sem or what they say).
I dont fully blame them though, they spent a lot of time and money on a degree and higher costs of doing business likely have them in a space between doing whats right for the patient and paying their bills. It doesnt excuse them from their decisions but it provides some perspective as to why they lie or lie by omission.
Pinhole technique doesn’t make periodontal pockets disappear
It is just cosmetic covering if the recession .
Having recessions is much better then having periodontal pockets
So what’s the pinhole technique? Or that was an Ad?
Do you recommend getting the parts that have small cavities filled on the front before having pinhole?
the pinhole technique is a miracle, the problem is - it's still a high cost procedure,

@@greeksun369 why?
Dr Nemeth, is this procedure available in the Uk.

How much does this cost
My dentist recommended a composite filling for the areas with receding gums. What is your opinion?
I was thinknig the same. My concern was that the bonding material would be so close to the gumline that it may cause the gum to recede further, so I am even on the fence about this.
I wanted to do pinhole, but the recovery regimen is almost impossible to adhere to and the failure rate is too high for the cost and pain/recovery involved. Too much greed in the dental industry, so you have to take wha dentists tell you and think about what they have to gain by leading you down the wrong way.
Like many dentists will see recession and not mention it until its too far and then they refer you to their periodontist buddies and then you get fleeced. Its hard to trust these people no matter what since you know the motivating factor for them is money. At the end of the day its you who will have to live with any problem and not them. As a matter of fact if the problem worsens its more money for them so its almost in their best interest to allow a problem to advance.
Hello Dr how can u help me?
Wow unbelievable😮😊
Are you located in uk aswell??
How long does this last?
From what I hear the gums start receding immediately after, even with proper care. I assume the reason depends on how much of the bone surrounding the teeth is left, you need bone under the gums if not there’s no support and it recedes. From other sources I heard it last until they become middle age or elderly
What if one uses growth factors on the gum??
