- Today, we take a look at one of the newest firearms from Henry, the Homesteader. While this isn't the first semi-auto from Henry, its certainly one that is making the biggest splash. Watch the whole video to find out all the reasons we're loving the new Henry Homesteader.

Anything Henry needs to do to stay alive and profitable into the future I support. As long as quality and workmanship remain, we should support them.
This is a nice carbine but I really like my Ruger PC Carbine in 9mm. The takedown option on the Ruger is a big plus!
Yeah. They should've design THIS carbine to be a takedown as well. Unfortunately, they would have to completely redesign it to make that happen
Great review Kristin! Thanks for sharing it with us.

Yes Please and there is a SKU for M&P mags finally. I want one.
Re really nice video Kristen love all your videos Henry did it again love the 9 mm homesteader!!
I like the simple good looks of the gun. I hope it catches on so they will produce polymer stock for it as well as other after market goodies...
Really neat idea to get into the PCC theme. They already do well on the others.
Great review! I need one of these.
Sweet gun for sure. We have them on our site. Thank you.
It’s amazing how the color of the stock gives people different views
Another Kristen video to make my day. I really hope that wasn't a cigarette burning in that one scene. I don't want anything to happen to you.
You are one of my favorite reviewers
Thank you for the kind words. Plenty more Kristin videos coming.
Great replacement for my ruger camp carbine
Any larger calibers coming soon.
I'd love a 44mag
The problem is diminishing returns. The bean counters will probably not go for tooling up for other calibers being they wont sell many of those. Just my guess. I would live to see one in .40s&w or 10mm
@@theeasternfront6436 well if they make the 10mm you can shoot 40 out of it.
Like with the 44mag you can shoot 44 spl.
38 out of 357.
I have a Henry golden boy in 22 it’s awesome. Is Henry planning on making a lever gun in 9mm ?
Always love Kristen's videos and that rifle looks like another winner for Henry. Are there any plans for a Homesteader in 10mm?
Glad you enjoy them Bobbie.
Would love to see it with a color case receiver.
When I was first interested in a 9mm carbine I wrote to Henry asking if they had plans to make a 9mm carbine. At that time they said no. Now, a decade or more later I am wishing they had back then.
Owner of a Marlin Camp .45. Looking at this Carbine it's a handsome looking thing. It is very reminiscent of early Winchester self loaders. I praise Henry for following these comments. I am interested. I like my Marlin, but they have their own limits. Still it is the . 45acp. I want to see if Henry brings this out in .45acp. 10mm and others calibers. Maybe a convertible model. And now that Ruger owns Marlin it might be interesting to see if Ruger brings this back. The race is on.
My favorite gun reviewer
Thank you for the kind words. Plenty more Kristin review videos coming soon.
Love it thank you
Yes please.
Very nice review. I have been wavering, but, now, ……..
I love you r videos.....
Finally seen one in store 850.00 crude gun for the money stamped etched so called checkering aluminum stamped receiver not the quality I would have expected 550.00 max
When will Henry make the double 4570 rifle we want?
I like this rifle I think. I'd like to see Henry make one in .44 magnum. ♥️🌹
Arma muito top.e um ótimo acabamento.👏👏👏👏👏💐
If you could get one for around 700 I’d be tempted.
I've found some new for 750-800
$700 max I would consider paying. Also would like to see a non threaded version.
I want one.
Try the 50 round drum
Hopefully Henry brings out a straight pull version for us Aussies!!!🙏
Since it's a blow black design, that would be costly.
Me Being Lefthanded That ambidextrous set up is good
Interesting design. Wish they would have used a more common magazine format
Agreed. But with the adaptor, you can use Glock mags.
What's more common than a glock, sig, or m&p mag??????
@@dlittle9556 Because using an adapter is way better than just having it take a Glock mag from the start, yeah?
@@christophereger1053 lol no
Such as Glock mags, or S&W mags that you can use in it??
form and function
Take a minute and look at the Winchester 1907, the homesteader look just like it.
Nice review (as always), but as I already own a mint Marlin Camp 9, I don’t see where this item is much of an upgrade 35 years later
The Marlin Csmp 9 is not currently in production. I’ve wanted a carbine in this style and in a pcc for years but hated the black versions that are out there. You don’t see the need because you already have one. Doesn’t mean there isn’t a demand for it especially with all the new shooters that came on the scene since 2008.
Would I rather have a mint Camp9? Hell yes, but they don’t take glock mags :(
So why did that honest outlaw guy have such issues…?
10 mm for me!
A 10mm would be nice
Yes it would.
Make it in 45 acp
I want to see this gun in 10mm
I carry a .45 acp........what about us old timers?
The AR 7 is NOT a Henry design. That said, proprietary magazines -wait you can swap to Glock????
NVM.....
She never said the AR-7 was designed by Henry, only that that was their first semi-auto.
So what exactly is it good for? It isn’t a gun good for hunting.
😂 Not all guns are for hunting.
We take turkey with a 9mm hand gun in AZ. I imagine this would be a nice close range/small game rifle.
Over priced and under whelming
My local shop has em for sale for $670. Much better that the msrp.

Then have you considered if We gave them enjoyment for years, And then there came to them that which they were promised?
They would not be availed by the enjoyment with which they were provided. (Quran 26 :205-207)
