Following his album 'In Place 'composer Colin Riley explores place in a different way in this video EP. Field recordings have been captured simultaneously with a static-framed video allowing inconsequential things to come into the situation and the smallest details to take on a rich significance. Colin has used the sonic properties of the audio, and its subtle tones and rhythms, and blended these with a personal emotional response. In each case the music and the field recording are woven intimately so that it becomes impossible to know where one ends and the other begins. This is a group project with the contributions of each member being of huge importance.
