I’m SOO happy you had fun with the Bonds that Tie!! I was there for the romance and slow burn, I didn’t care for the action plot at ALL but I ate that series up 😂 Similar to your friend, I hated Nox in book one but then became my fav in the final book so take that what you will. I’m so glad you ended up liking it

I’ve been wanting to try Court of Blood and Bindings since I first heard about it from Jess at HonestFiction. Then I saw Mel talk about how she loved it so I decided to buy it. Hopefully I can try it soon and see if I like it or if I agree with you.

It's defs a fun time and there is an overall plot! all the books are on everand too!
If you like the color system magic in A Court of Blood and Bindings, I highly recommend you read The Black Prism by Brent Weeks, which is the first book in the high fantasy Lightbringer series. 😊

I tried reading a sample of Broken Bonds and . . . The sample alone made me so angry and I just wanted every male character we encountered so far to die a horrible death. Can't say much about the writing, but I was probably too busy being angry about everything else.
Loved Daughter of the Pirate King. The series is just a really fun action/adventure popcorn read, IMO.
