@howUlikemenow As a rivalry yes. Chiefs Steelers played many times in the 90s and finished dead even. Lamar and Rooney family had lots of love and respect for each other. Bill cowherd and Tony Dungy were a part of the Chiefs organization. Bill loved playing at Arrowhead. Both teams In the 90s at their peak. Could have played the Steelers in the 95 title game had Len Elliott made some fgs or Keith cash catched the ball in the endzone instead of dropping it. Amazing playoff game in 93. As a chiefs fan, I'll always have respect for the Steelers. Even today, I want to play the Steelers on primetime at Arrowhead. Nothing like it.
I'm from Kansas City. I went to go see AIC open for KISS in July96. I was 19. We left after AIC finished, lol...Along with like +300 other 14-21yr olds. AIC just toar it up. Lol, KISS had no chance following AIC!. I felt bad for KISS, to have to follow AIC.... Lol, the KC Star Newspaper actually wrote about 500 teens walking out b4 KISS took stage next day in paper. I saved the clipping. Had be embarrassing for them and their fans. Irony tho? This AIC, Kansas City show I was at in July96? I didn't know till Apr02, when Layne Staley died? I was LITERALLY AT Layne Staley's last performance with Alice~In~Chains. Look it up, "Layne Staley's last performance with Alice~In~Chains." (Kansas City, July96. @Kemper Arena.)
The AFC title game we never got in the 90’s. Denied twice in 95 & 97
Exactly and Kansas City Would Had Played Pittsburgh at Home Twice in The AFC Championship Games!
Too bad my broncos got in the way
Appreciate all your uploads. Such good stuff.
Chiefs/Steelers was so underrated in the 90s
What? Were you even there? The Steelers were coming off a super bowl. KC was highly respected since Marty had arrived.

Next Steelers at chiefs game on Monday night football needs to reuse this intro music. It’s legendary.
Now we just need the full MNF Game between these two from 1997 but 1998 as well if possible
Now Chiefs are 2 SB Titles away from tying the Steelers w/(6)

Tomczak throwing dimes
To the other team.
Vanoever, my friend was apart of his big drug bust. Word is T. Vanoever ratted every1 out.
Tomzack sucked he drove me crazy in my early twenties watching him
He knows how to throw a block when they run the ball. And I think you are confused with Tommy Maddox!
I will always hate Bill Cowher.
Bill is a good and decent man, a Chirstian man....
