Thanks! I have been putting the plug in from the outside for 30,000 miles. No I know why it has been a pain to install. You leave the plug attached to the filter before installing.
Every time I take it to a different oil change store and when I ask them someone tells me to take 4 liters and another store tells me 4 and a half liters I always tell them to put 0/20 4 liters

Just wanna let u know I just did a oil change on my 2020 hyundai accent and it's definitely a 24mm to get to the oil filter

Is it a 3/8 drive or 1/2 drive. The drain plug isn’t coming off with a 17mm 3/8 drive bit

Either one. I prefer O side of wrench to sockets. Better leverage and more control IMHO.

I don't get why Hyundai changed it from old spin on filter. There is nothing wrong with them and they are dime a dozen.
