- On Thursday evening, the Calangute Police detained one person, while another one is on the run in a case of assault using country made pistol. It was revealed that the caretaker of an apartment at Calangute was assaulted with a butt of a country made pistol by one of the accused following arguments between them. Now the locals from Calangute have said that Calangute is not safe anymore, the law and order has also collapsed and the government are not serious about the safety of the people especially the Goans.
Tomorrow Talibans will enter Goa and ATS COMMANDOS will make parades in panjim.This is the level of security in Goa. Police should do on the spot checking of the identities of these so called tourists. Calangutkars to safeguard themselves should take the law in their own hands because the law enforcement agency in calangute has collapsed completly.

People of calangute should take the law in their own hands, and teach these c grade tourists how to behave..... before its too late, cause the government is sleeping 😴 along with the police, the police are only kept to issue Challans for motorist.
The police should be transfered to traffic department of RTO.
