This reminds me of the time I listened to a sleep meditation video years ago for insomnia. I recall being asked to make a mental image of myself unable to sleep and throwing it faraway and then making a new one of me sound asleep and enlarging the new image. That video really helped removed what ever subconscious anxiousness was behind the insomnia and I was able to sleep easily ever since.
TY. Although The scenery is Beautiful, the wind in the microphone and the birds screeching are distracting. I saw you pause when the flock came by. I had to rewind a couple times to Hear what you said. Maybe inside with a view. I'm here to learn and do the technique rather than see the background. Hope this feedback helps.
Hay I have seen your Swish pattern and found the most interesting on youtube but I want to ask Can we use Swish Pattern for procrastination? if yes then how can you make a video on it? I didn't found any techniques for that. I am sure you will make a good one on it
The swish is more appropriate for minor habits ,nail biting, eating unwanted foods,it is altering visual auditory and kinesthetic cues ..were as procrastination being an away from state it is more appropriate to use anchoring trust me if you anchor enough uncomfortable feelings to the state it will drive you to take action away from procrastination towards taking action ...I hope this helps
Thank you Michael! Great explanation. I have a question. There's a point of view that the 2nd (dissociated, desirable) picture shouldn't necessarily include a specific ACTION, but rather the image of you having had overcome the problem. Could you please give your opinion on that? Thank you!
Hi Tatiana, it depends on what the client is working on and how well they unconsciously generalise. Classic NLP works primarily at the output stage in processing, Yes, action or behaviour in the outcome image, is very linear, the Swish has the effect of diverting output in response to input. By making an image of yourself with the qualities of the change and not with action, will depend on the clarity of the image and congruency the client has with what they are visualising as well as how well they naturally generalise. Here's a new video, which presents state orientated change.
Basically just replace one habit with another when the trigger hits you. No need for all this swooshing thingamajig. Example: You feel tired and have to exercise. Instead of relaxing or sleeping to regain energy, anchor the removal of tiredness with exercising. "Exercise gives me energy." It has to be true, though. Most people feel more energized if they exercise that day.
I think someone who promoting better yourself and excellence needs to improve their own appearance first. That's not me being nasty if you want people to be inspired by what you say you should be inspired by the way they look. The guy obviously has issues with food and exercise. Which distracts from his good adivice
If you want someone who wears a nice expensive flashy suit I am sure there are enough of those out there who would be quite happy to take your money. NLP is about helping people achieve what they want not setting your standards on them. If Michael is happy like he is then he has achieved what NLP sets out to do.

As procrastination is a state, a state orientated intervention would be better, give this one a go

Love the background... Costa Brava :) Thank you for the message!

You are right if it works for you the way you have said. This is for those though who it hasn't worked for in your way.
Great video but your SWISH cracked me up... wonder if I’d ever be able to do it without laughing 😆
Keep laughing, it's good for the mind, body and soul :)
Very bad at explaining. One thing is very important is to feel good in the new picture for example seeing the nails long strong and beautiful
