Cats are actually extremely clean animals who are constantly grooming and cleaning themselves and hate being dirty for pretty much the same reasons as listed above.
Cats usually hate cold water.. not water in general. Some cats also swim pretty well. Lions don't swim, but tigers do swim for example. And there is a species of cats (I don't remember its English name) that has webbed toes because its main source of food is river fish. So I assume that specific species also swims quite often.

fun fact , in Japanese language "Ko" mean "Child" , and "Bo" were use(shortened) for baby like "akanbo" mean "baby" or "little baby" , so "KoBo" can literally mean "Little Kid/Child" or "baby kid" a.k.a "Toddler" or in Indonesia mean "Bocil(bocah cilik)" . japanese are very meaningful and poetic with naming sense . in literacy they will use name for character with symbolic meaning .
But in indonesia well its still a theory, Kobo kanaeru is taken from "Kobokan Air" wich mean 'Finger Bowl' that use to wash ur hand before eating or after eating. And just to make it sounds like Japanese names, she added an extra "Hiragana" in the end, and there you have it Kobo Kanaeru.
