MHGU/MHXX G4 Amatsu "Who Will Hunt the Rain?" 4P Valor GS 1'31"23

While this run is slightly faster than the one posted on the TDS channel ( • When 4 Great Sword Mai... ), it's sloppier and doesn't look as clean so I thought I would upload it here while they used the better looking one.
As you can see here, it is possible to force Amatsu into phase 2 before it does the first big suction whirlwind attack (I don't know if it has an official name). Everyone's attacks need to land on the hosts screen and you need good crit luck to do enough damage. This is the only run out of many we did that successfully did this.
Lag was a major factor and influenced the final run and the strats we used/didn't use sadly. Our valor charges need to land on our own screens for us to build valor gauge, but they also need to land on Kage's screen to actually deal damage because he was hosting. This also came into play with timing attacks on Amatsu's head when it's flailing about after being knocked down. Often we would need to whiff on our own screens for it to actually hit on the hosts.
Some of the wide slashes later in the run also need to be done very early on each of our screens to avoid staggering Amatsu while it's going up for the triple tornado, sometimes it wasn't possible to avoid.
During the triple tornado, while it is unenraged, it would be more optimal to time a strong charge to hit Amatsu as it's coming back down, making it do the air stagger animation, as you can get another strong charge when it enrage roars afterwards. Timing it so that all four of us hit at the right time turned out to be unfeasible due to the delay issues, not to mention trying to time the strong charge on the head during the enrage roar as it moves side to side a lot.
So while this is faster, it looks worse. We did handle the improvisation as best we could in the conditions, and it was an enjoyable grind for the run. So thanks to Kage, Deus, and Kaizo for the good times.
I would be up for trying this again and going for the riskier strats if anyone is interested, hopefully with more workable connections.
