Sorry for this stupid question, but what's the benefit of using the Resolve controller instead of the original Leaf controller? Seeing as everything else are Leaf parts.
Original leaf controller needs all 9? Control units, airbag, handbrake, body control module etc. This makes is extremely hard to do a conversion with the Nissan control bits!
I have that exact same crimper. Bought two bottles of redline atf to do my gearbox when i install my eberbspacher diesel heater and lebros ac heater. Great progress on here Dala. Good luck for the charging and watercooling
Is there a reason that you could not use any 96s Li-ion battery pack and cell tap at the same points back to the BMS? You obviously can't use another chemistry like LiFePo4, the BMS would see the wrong voltage.
@@DalasEVRepair This is really interesting, thank you. I have been considering a Leaf motor for a conversion like this but the Leaf packs don't fit too well in my case so I would want to use the 6s2p CALB modules if possible. I was thinking about using the Resolve-EV controller but was concerned about the BMS side of things. As the CALB modules are Li-ion it sounds like it could be possible?
Noniin! Suosittelen ehdottomasti, osat ovat vielä tosi halpoja kun ihmiset ei ovat vielä hiffanut että kannattaa ostaa kolariautosta! Tuo moottori+inverter+laturi maksoi vaan 500€ lol!
This episode lacks a bit of context. What make is the car, are you trying to convert it (seems so), what was the challenge, how is the EV-system built in this case, what type of batteries are you using etc. All of this might be part off other episodes (it seems to be), but in that case a short summary would be helpful. Keep up the good work.
Yeah all that is explained in the first episode ua-cam.com/video/rXheGP9pzhs/v-deo.html Will maybe start each episode off with a short recap in the future, lots of new people joining in on the build now! Thanks

@@DalasEVRepair thanks, that makes a lot of sense.
Looking forward to more on that controller. That's very impressive Dala.
About to do my first Resolve-EV HV powerup in the next day or two! So nervous but big thanks to you and Isak for making these guides!
Good luck 😁!
Good luck 😁!
that's insane, can't wait to see it all running.
Happy Dala! Well done!

I had no doubt it would start and run first time 😉😄
Congrats on getting it to spin!
Thanks! :)
You have a gearbox, that means on highway speeds u could getter better range than original leaf?
I am more after better acceleration than the original LEAF ;)
@@DalasEVRepair nice 👌 are u planning to go racing?
How Many volts is this battery bank??

Very interesting video again. Been watching your videos since you started your channel, really like your projects!
Thanks for following along :)
👍
Does the battery need to come from the Leaf as well? Would be nice if you aren’t limited to reusing the Leaf battery.
At the moment LEAF packs only. But all 2013+ 24/30/40/62kWh packs are supported!

@@austenchevalier917 resolve ev is compatible with e.g. ID3 packs. Best to contact the maker!
Hi, it is posible to add A/C leaf compressor (with heat pump or not)?
See this link, you need some additional electronics to run it leafdriveblog.wordpress.com/2019/06/24/leaf-a-c-compressor-drive/
konehuoneeseen näyttää jäävän hyvin tilaa.. esimerkiksi lämmitys systeemille.. vai ajatko tuolla vain kesällä?
Traficom vaati joku tuulilasilämmitys, ilman sitä et saa muutoskatsastaa. 12V lämmityslaite riittää
Are you using a 30KWh pack - I thought the resolve only worked with 2013 onwards 24KWH pack????
Yes I'm using a 30kWh pack. I'd even say that the 40/62kWh pack works, the necessary communication is in the same messages!
@@DalasEVRepair so you didn’t have to change the resolve or use a can bribe to the battery pack, it just worked with no changes?
