I was a bit startled that you cut up Rachel’s hand sewn bag. I cherish those things because of the time it takes and the loving thought that goes into it. I know I’m thinking about the person I’m making the item for the whole time I’m making it. I love the bird tag this week as I have a love for the birdies.

I’m rubbish at drawing, too, so either copy or trace outlines of what I want. The creative bit comes with how you arrange things and the stitching.
People who can draw sometimes don’t get how difficult drawing is for us, but there are always ways around it. Good luck with your bird.

I love the bird! I've been watching for a couple of weeks; saw your challenge watching Rachel from Roxy Creations and now I'm more obsessed with fabric/thread than I am with paper!! My 17 year old dear daughter and I created the first tag a couple of weeks ago and had a comical time waiting for just the right tag. I have two questions for the collective wisdom. Should we do the tags in order or just jump in where you all are? Also, I am going to add a new pair of scissors to my Xmas wish list as I have ruined mine on paper so any recommendations? I love all the beautiful tags you have all made! I have resisted joining Instagram for years but just did so I could see them all....

Oh my gosh Anne- you cut up the bag Rachel handmade you!!! I loved that bag and love the one that she made me! I would never cut it up as she spent time making that! I am sorry but I find that offensive to Rachel and she has been such a big supporter of you! 🙁 😠
I too love the bag which is why it is stitched into the front of the book I made for the collaboration project as I turned it into a pocket for all the letters and other bits and pieces to go in.
