If you did notice from the start of 2018 I am trying to put out other types of videos every now and then apart from just smartphones, will continue to do that if I find something interested and you guys can also give me suggestions.
This reminds me of my trip to Hyderabad. Jubliee hills, NTR garden, ring road, eat street and everything. Hyderabad is so amazing, I just love this city!!
Congratulation Ranjit... for your New Car. Have not finished the video yet(paused the video to write this comment) but I know it will be good. 2M very Soon. :-)
Day before yesterday I went to Guru gram in my brother’s car and I asked him why he didn’t install android auto enabled music system as it would have been convenient for the navigation. Thanks for this different kind of video...
Yes it's New Verna (automatic, Petrol version) I had the Honda Civic earlier which was 11 years old so moved to the Verna as I wanted an automatic transmission coz of the mad traffic in Hyderabad.
Badiya video well explained 👍 Google nae Android Auto ko aacha update Kiya hai but ek cheez Dena firse bhool Gaye kyun nai Diya samaj nai aata🤔 Hey Google, I understand why Android Auto doesn't allow video playback on car's infotainment screen, for obvious safety reasons, but what is the harm in playing video on Android Auto say via UA-cam or even Netflix, when the car is 'stationary'? A simple solution for this could be to interface with and use the Android Auto connected Smartphone's accelerometer to detect acceleration and to determine movement and stop playing UA-cam for example as soon as the car starts moving. In today's world of smart mobility, what is the point in buying an expensive car having a high tech touchscreen infotainment system or even existing cars with infotainment system that supports Android Auto, if you can't even play video to entertain yourself & your family/friends, while the car is stationary! Please provide UA-cam & other video streaming apps for Android Auto via OTA update. Thanks.🙏
I love the way Samsung opts for just keeping it thin and make it look like a normal phone instead of the notch. I wish others follow this instead of notch. A notch is just annoying.
Hi Ranjit!! I really think you should start doing car reviews, now that automative vehicles have basically turned into gadgets, starting with the Verna!
Thanks for the demo Ranjit. Intend to go in for Verna top one in January. I had researched it all I thought. But thanks for your video.. I now know what I have to be doing better.. Thanks again
Srijee yes I am using android auto in my Baleno from the past 5-6 months and trust me it has made my driving lot easier 😀 1 point worth mentioning here which I guess you missed is, we don't need a dedicated voice button, "Ok Google" works 😊 Also, congratulations for your new car 😊
We have both in our family I would say if your driver is driving mostly then go with the City and the rear leg room is better on the city and if mostly 5 people sit in the car Honda city is better as rear seating is slightly better on City. With Verna if 3 people sit at the rear it's a bit cramped but if you are the one who loves driving and mostly drive the car yourself I feel Verna has slight edge, I find driving Verna a bit more fun than the city.
SB The Pikachu VTEC is variable valve timing technology, which every petrol car have these days, from Suzuki Swift petrol to verna petrol to Mercedes to Toyota. VVTi, dual VVTi, VTEC, VVT all are same variable Valve timing technology. In internal combustion engines, variable valve timing (VVT) is the process of altering the timing of a valve lift event, and is often used to improve performance, fuel economy or emissions. It is increasingly being used in combination with variable valve lift systems. There are many ways in which this can be achieved, ranging from mechanical devices to electro-hydraulic and camless systems. Increasingly strict emissions regulations are causing[citation needed] many automotive manufacturers to use VVT systems. Two-stroke engines use a power valve system to get similar results to VVT.
SB The Pikachu The desirability of being able to vary the valve opening duration to match an engine’s rotational speed first became apparent in the 1920s when maximum allowable RPM limits were generally starting to rise. Until about this time an engine’s idle RPM and its operating RPM were very similar, meaning that there was little need for variable valve duration. It was in the 1920s that the first patents for variable duration valve opening started appearing - for example United States patent U.S. Patent 1,527,456. In 1958 Porsche made application for a German Patent, also applied for and published as British Patent GB861369 in 1959. The Porsche patent used an oscillating cam to increase the valve lift and duration. The desmodromic cam driven via a push/pull rod from an eccentric shaft or swashplate. It is unknown if any working prototype was ever made. Fiat was the first auto manufacturer to patent a functional automotive variable valve timing system which included variable lift. Developed by Giovanni Torazza in the late 1960s, the system used hydraulic pressure to vary the fulcrum of the cam followers (US Patent 3,641,988).[5] The hydraulic pressure changed according to engine speed and intake pressure. The typical opening variation was 37%. Alfa Romeo was the first manufacturer to use a variable valve timing system in production cars (US Patent 4,231,330).[6] The fuel injected models of the 1980 Alfa Romeo Spider 2000 had a mechanical VVT system. The system was engineered by Ing Giampaolo Garcea in the 1970s.[7] In 1987 Nissan debuted their electronic variable valve timing technology called NVCS in their DOHC VG20DET and VG30DE engines. In 1989, Hondareleased the VTEC system.[8] While the earlier Nissan NVCS alters the phasing of the camshaft, VTEC switches to a separate cam profile at high engine speeds to improve peak power. The first VTEC engine Honda produced was the B16A which was installed in the Integra, CRX, and Civichatchback available in Japan and Europe.[citation needed] In 1992, Porsche first introduced VarioCam, which was the first system to provide continuous adjustment (all previous systems used discrete adjustment). The system was released in the Porsche 968 and operated on the intake valves only.
Rajinder Singh my gosh dude I know all that. VTEC, however, kicks in more violently on Honda. Toyota and Suzuki do have Variable Valve Timing but if you have driven/know anyone who has driven them, they'll always say the Honda is more fun. Plus the Suzukis and Toyotas have a low redline compared to the Hondas. Oh and don't copy paste Wikipedia articles. Link sharing exists for a reason.
Hey Ranjit sir ....i liked your video even i am using the same by using handsfree while driving byke.....it works exactly the same ....its like my personal Jarvis ( Avengers)....take care
Bro i have seen a video on UA-cam Guy unlocked his mobile by saying ok google is it possible if it is then try to make a video on it How to enable that settings
Hey Ranjit, can we use two mobiles at same time while one is connected via USB for Android Auto navigation and second one with Bluetooth for other features like music and calls?
Voice command is just soo useful. We didn't get the top Variant Ignis so we don't have this stuff. Knobs are good but well done voice recognition is so much more convenient.
Which car have your purchased @geekyranjit is it the Verna model 2017? And do we need a strong internet connection for the navigation and other stuffs?
Congratulations on you new car.💐💐😊👌👌 Android auto - It works better even in my Mi A1, specially bought Zaap phone holder. Its much better than the CarPlay.
Congrats for Verna Ranjit (hope you chose Diesel!!!). I also purchased a car recently which has Android Auto, Apple Car Play & Mirror Link. Would love to see another video from you showing differences between these systems and which one makes more sense. Another question - do you think Google will keep updating Android Auto in terms of resolution and additional features like drive assistant, video, UA-cam (crazy thought!!).
Does it have connections to your mobile performance..?? My android auto hangs quite frequently as I am using Moto g3 I'am having Hyundai grand i10 sports optional same avn
Is there zoom functionality available when y r in google map mode? and secondly can u make a video of Apple car play as well as the car supports both. Thxs.
We would love to see such videos in future....plzz make such videos and plzz share your thoughts after buying this car...would love to listen as I am also planning to buy a car..awaiting for ur reply sir
Wow its amazing , I also mostly use phone assistant provide by Google ,android and to make some calls and navigation .. But this is next level to experience great thing "android auto" while driving car.. I like your channel geekyraranjit... For introducing new things. I'm also your old subscriber....
Hi Ranjit - I am Rajesh Verma from Kolkata working in a microfinance organization. I am have been following you for quite some time for around 4 years. Before any mobile purchase I make sure to go through your reviews. Currently I am planning to buy a new Car stereo and I wanted to use Android auto application. Hey Ranjit, first of all, congrats on your new Verna. I have been using Android Auto for a couple of years now and absolute love the handsfree experience.. I don't have a touchscreen infotainment system in my car so I use the Android Auto app on the phone directly which has almost similar interface. Waiting for the latest update announced in the Google I/O event..
Hello Ranjit, this looks similar to Google Assistant voic commands. could the same things be done if your phone is GA enabled and connected to existing car Bluetooth
Hello Ranjit, could you please make a video on android car stereos available in India. These are available at cheap price in delhi. Should we buy or not?
Here is the Overview and my Impressions of the Hyundai Verna Car that many of you had asked for ua-cam.com/video/YvXfTYqCgVE/v-deo.html
Geekyranjit sir what was the price of the verna?
Geekyranjit Can please you do one with apple carplay?
Verna prize is between 13 to 15 lac ..I recently purchased hyundai eon

That's a different kind of video. We would love to see more videos like this apart from smartphone. ☺️
ISHAN KHANDELWAL Also make different kinda videos like this.
If you did notice from the start of 2018 I am trying to put out other types of videos every now and then apart from just smartphones, will continue to do that if I find something interested and you guys can also give me suggestions.

I am happy to see finally some Indian tech youtuber has realized that he should make a video on Android auto and Apple carplay
Geekyranjit sir u r great and very nice video and different from what I see in your channel
Thanks trying out new things :)
I've Android auto in my car but never used it. Thank you sir for guiding me, now I'll be able to use it. 🔥🔥
Ranjit a type of guy who buys a new car just to show the Auto Android feature. JK
BTW congratulations for your new car, ride safe brother.
I'm using it since last one month or so in my Nexon and works like a charm! It makes driving so much easier.
Day before yesterday I went to Guru gram in my brother’s car and I asked him why he didn’t install android auto enabled music system as it would have been convenient for the navigation. Thanks for this different kind of video...
Sir this is Hyundai verna right ?
no . i think because it is a suv car
Yes it's New Verna (automatic, Petrol version) I had the Honda Civic earlier which was 11 years old so moved to the Verna as I wanted an automatic transmission coz of the mad traffic in Hyderabad.
BestGamer it is Verna
Great car and you also have taigo amt
Geekyranjit congratulations sir is it SX optional in petrol ? I also booked Verna but manual
Badiya video well explained 👍
Google nae Android Auto ko aacha update Kiya hai but ek cheez Dena firse bhool Gaye kyun nai Diya samaj nai aata🤔

Thanks.🙏
Great video sir...
As much as I have seen your videos those two songs never changes its place in a video....
*Kabira & Baarish*
Was wondering for a very long time, why there is no quality review for Android auto on UA-cam. And here it is....
Next video on Apple Car Play?
No
A fellow Hyderabadi! Really impressed with your channel.
What do you think about notch which many android manufaturer are copying do you think this will work
I frankly feel it's a stupid move, but we have seen most OEM just copy what apple does so that's what is happening.
I too feel its a stupid move
Huawei Honor , Asus , LG , doogee ,OnePlus , oppo and may be Moto are the brands having notch
I love the way Samsung opts for just keeping it thin and make it look like a normal phone instead of the notch. I wish others follow this instead of notch. A notch is just annoying.
Geekyranjit . Sir what do you think that this function will be there in almost all
cars till 2019
Yeah! I am using android auto in the car.... I am very glad to see you for taking about this topic in the your video....
plz make a review of ur car
Hey Ranjit i am using Android Auto in my Hyundai i10 Sportz its working very smooth....

Congratulations sir for Hyundai Verna. Its a very good car
I am using it on my new Hyundai Grand i10 Asta. Its very simple and convenient. I believe now it will support hindi google assistant as well.
Sir u can also activate Google assistant by just saying "ok Google" :)
Srijee yes I am using android auto in my Baleno from the past 5-6 months and trust me it has made my driving lot easier 😀 1 point worth mentioning here which I guess you missed is, we don't need a dedicated voice button, "Ok Google" works 😊

Honda City or verna wich one is better in ur opinion

How does it feel from the civic to upgrade to the Verna? Isn't the space a big negative especially wrt to the civic?

Hey Ranjit, can we use two mobiles at same time while one is connected via USB for Android Auto navigation and second one with Bluetooth for other features like music and calls?

Hi Ranjit - I am Rajesh Verma from Kolkata working in a microfinance organization. I am have been following you for quite some time for around 4 years. Before any mobile purchase I make sure to go through your reviews. Currently I am planning to buy a new Car stereo and I wanted to use Android auto application. Can you please suggest me which music system should I go with support android auto. My budget is around 15-20K. Currently I am using Redmi Note 5 Pro, hope this will be compatible.
Sir.
