He is such a strong singer and musician. My wife and I watch a lot of vocal teacher reactions and you are by far our favorite. You see the technical aspect but also the emotional aspect and it's very refreshing and educational also. The comments you make about Myles preparing himself for the high notes by making those small vocal noises, are spot on. We've seen this video a million times and we never saw that perspective of it. You are incredibly insightful and knowledgeable and we enjoy your videos immensely. By the way, Myles made you cry at the end....well, he does that that to us all the time. I just saw Alter Bridge live on April 1st and as usual they were amazing. In addition, it was the first time that my GF had ever seen Alter Bridge live so, I got to live through her eyes just a bit. In fact, when miles performed watch over you acoustically she could not help but tear up.

I didn't know this band, but I accompanied a friend to a concert because the person he was going with cancelled last minute and I really didn't care for their other songs, plus it was in a very small place and my ears actually hurt from the loud music. But this song, oh this song made me tear up, and the fact that you could almost hear the people singing more than himself, made it even more special. I have it recorded and I love to watch it every now and then.
Myles Kennedy has to be one of the top if not the top in his field ! He can make you cry, and make jump up and down, and anything in betweeen. A master of his craft ! This show was done with a live 50 piece orchestra and It is honestly one of the most perfect live performances I have ever seen. Definitely an overlooked singer. I'm really impressed with your analysis of the singers you react to. I have a suggestion. This is a bit different but Jacob Collier does a version of Moon River that is literally out of this world. He also won a Grammy for it and it is a pretty epic video.
This is the most emotional performance of this song. Made me really appreciate Myles' voice. I've always liked Stapp's voice more, but this one Myles is above and beyond.

It's easy to tell Myles can sing but the level of precision, fullness of tone, range and the voice as a whole are stupid good. I still remember buying One Day Remaind when it came out.
