I picked up my 2021 model 3 standard plus Aug 2023. Best purchase I've ever done! By far! Luckily mine came with a charger and the adapter to help with public charging. I lucked out hard with it. Only had 54k km's on the clock at the time so it was barely driven. Off lease 1 owner. Interior was practically new. The exterior had some scuffs and alot of rock chips. Too bad the previous owner never got it PPF'ed. But as my daily driver, I don't need to worry about it too much. I understand why there are so many of these guys on the road nowadays. 🙂
One great thing I look for when trying to buy a used Tesla is a specific type of computer is its has. If you definitely want the latest features and a faster response time, you should consider buying an AMD vehicle instead of an Intel one. Additionally, I want one with the Matrix headlights. 👌 Great content.
Bought a 2021 model 3 RWD standard range plus with 41k miles for $21k (not including taxes and registration). Range is 188 miles at 80%, I would recommend looking at what the range at 80% is because that is what you will be charging to most times
Just bought used 2022 MYP with 30k miles. Don’t fall for the additional warranties that the dealership sells as technology packages. They are garbage. Also, just cuz a car is listed as a 2022 model, doesn’t mean the manufacturer date isn’t earlier. In my case Nov 2021 is the date, still get all the warranties, just loose a few months cuz manufacturer date.
For more than 50years car manufacturers that build a vehicle after 0ct it is considered the next year vehicle, no exceptions. So I guess no different for them.
@@kellybarthel8060 good to know. What I am unsure of with other manufacturers is with the base warranty transfer. The warranty follows the car based on manufacture date, so I still get the base new car warranty and same battery/drive train warranty that came with the car. For other manufacturers I do not know if that follows into the used market, or if based on sale date not manufacturer date. I would think other manufacturers do sale date as they may sit a lot longer then new Teslas.
thank you for the informative videos. i've just discovered your channel because my new goal for this year is to own a Tesla M3 and i am doing research. i'm still undecided on if i should go new or used at this point. how much will you be selling yours for?
@vegasteslafamily will you post in the community tab? after you find a buyer, would you consider selling through a third party key escrow service, like Keysavvy for example, so the buyer can get the EV tax credit, among other mutual benefits? also, is location of the buyer going to be a factor in how you’ll choose? i’m sure you’ll get several offers/people interested. if it’s any consolation, im also in vegas, just saying :)
I know some if the early 2018 model 3 cars have free premium connectivity for life. If I buy an early 2018 model 3, will the free premium connectivity transfer to me as the new owner?
Did prices go up? I remember looking maybe 2 months ago and they were thousands less than they currently are through cpo. Could be wrong but I feel like the prices are higher
For used? I don’t think so, but I think the big depreciation that everyone throws around has stopped, since prices of new cars have sort of leveled off
@@jackjaber96 don’t do that please…. A cyber truck or any 50k plus vehicle is not what a new home owner should be buying. Maybe the used market is flooded by then, but buy 2-3 years behind new, run your cars for 8-10 years, INVEST your money in your home and upkeep, SPEND you money on toys.
@@vegasteslafamily I'm in Southern California, and is available out here however looks like I cant get a quote unless I buy the car first which kinda scares me lol.

I bought a used 2021 MYLR last year. Best car I've ever owned and driven.
Same! And we saved a BOATLOAD of money.
Love it!

You bet! Glad it was helpful!
I am planning on buying a used 3, 2021 or 2022. I love your videos and appreciate the info you shared here.
Thanks for watching! You should be able to find a great deal!
I have a Tesla '22 M3LR and am replacing tires every 22K miles. Otherwise no maintenance required.
That’s often! Happy to hear that’s the only concern though

Good tip, AMD is much faster!
@ and ill keep an eye out for that model 3 to be on sale 👀.
Just purchased my 2021 Tesla model Y performance with 37,000 miles for $31,000 here in Vegas too
Nice! You got a great deal!
@ we actually just took our first day trip. Vegas to Oatman Arizona. Performance definitely not efficient but the wheels are so nice 😂
You could have gotten a 2025 model y for $37k brand new
@ new Model Y performance with the tax credit is $44k gotta compare apples to apples.
@@jackjaber96 The cheapest 2025 MY is 37k +taxes etc be 41k and if he dont qualify for the 7500 EV credit that be 50k
Used from a Tesla dealer will add 1 year of warranty, not bad if concerned about maint issues.
