An epoxy river of Milwaukee hole saws? 😂
Hole saw filled epoxy top workbench.
Oh hell yes 🤣🤣
My thoughts exactly.
1. Resin
2. Hole saws
3. …
4. Profit
had this exact thought and it is the top comment... perfect
This was going to be my idea too.
I’m glad you have confirmed that buying pallets like this is a total waste of money to thousands of people so we all don’t make that mistake 😂
Jokes on you , 191 hole saws , $10 for each , and that box is paid , Home Depot sell 4" hole dozers for $40 🙂
@@pete_lind good luck trying to sell all those. Probably take you 2 years.
@@yellowhammerwoodcraftsexactly. This is a loooooong term play.
@yellowhammerwoodcrafts two years is generous, if they have a good solid selling base online already and don't mind losing 20-30% of profit to various fees and shipping. Lol
@@pete_lindThose holesaws are likely to have something wrong with them like warped
I used to work in Milwaukee returns and at the end of the week we used to grab all the best tools before they got sent to the warehouse. We left the hardcases and boxes to make it more volume.
You bastard 😂
You know you would have done the same thing. All of us would. @@blueninja115
C’mon…was team work 😂
Funny to see people be surprised about this. It's so obvious. Even worse when you see third parties reselling the pallets, you know the good stuff that was left by whoever handled the returns has been taken by the third party as well, literally nothing left.
@@imnota what kind of company lets employes leave with returns?
I learned a long time ago to pay very close attention to the packaging of tools, I have gotten tools home and unboxed them only to find that it had been used and returned. Sometimes even missing parts or pieces that were clearly listed on the box.
Yea, it's really sad to see how prevalent immoral scumbags have become.
Open them right at the service counter....lol No debate then.
Out of all of them, this is my favorite hole saw channel.
As far as I'm concerned, it's the Number One Hole Saw Channel on UA-cam!!
I think that since most of those things are consumables, i.e. things that wear out, You could donate them to a local highschool wood/shop class or to a local trade school. They would be much higher quality than what those places could afford normally.
Try to get a pallet of Makita tools next!
Said donation could be a tax write off, helping recoup the money
I agree!!!
@@phoenixlove76That's not how it works lol. he just wouldn't pay as much taxes on it
@@LegendaryMike Has nothing to do with taxes paid on the pallet, It would be a 2000 dollar write-off lowering the amount of income he pays taxes on. I'm not a tax specialist so I'm not sure if he could only write it off for what he paid for the lot, or if he could tally it all up and write off retail cost for said donation, but if he donated a bunch of unused shit from this lot maybe he could consider it at retail cost and that donation would be of a lot higher value?
@@towtruckaj I understand your assessment but I was referring to that amount coming from his income. It would lower the cost of his taxes. My point is, he would not recoup the cost of the pallet by making it a donation. Spending $2k is still spending $2k
As an Hvac contractor, I would be happy with that box lol. I go through hole saws and bits like crazy
I could have told you there would not be one power tool in there! Lol! You buddy got hosed! Lol
This video has 2.2 million views and is so far the 4th most viewed of all his many videos.
This is probably more than enough UA-cam ad revenue and new subscribers to pay for that pallet.💲
@@ITubeTooInc100%
I think it was worth $7,000 before the tools were taken out of all of those bags and cases. Now, not so much.
Hole saws aren't cheap.😬 A 4" hole saw is something like $45. At 191 (?) hole saws, there is some money there. How to sell them?
@@kwilliams2239 If they're all close to that price, it's more than $7000 in just hole saws.
@@rayden54 I just looked at HomeDespot, 4" is $33. Interestingly a 4-1/4" is $41, so I'm a little high for the larger ones. A 6" is $53.
There are smaller ones in there too, which are a lot cheaper. The 6" (adjustable) plastic drywall hole saws are about $30. There were a lot of them in there.
The one that came with the free plug probably won't get as much.
Milwaukee hole saws kinda suck for the price. That’s probably why there’s so many returns they use it once and realize it’s trash for the price they paid. I’m an electrician I have Milwaukee stuff but not their hole saws lol
@@RaveN_EDMI personally prefer to buy power tools from good power tool manufacturers but not their other things like drill bits and stuff. Those things are usually just half decent but with a premium price because the premium brand name is on them.
You guys have more faith in humanity than I do. I would automatically assume the auction workers removed any thing of value that they could with out digging all the way to the bottom
I use to work in the auction industry many years ago, and the higher ups would direct us to do exactly this at every auction just to get rid of the crap items
@@robertashcraft2859is that not like illegal in some way?
I don't think there was any power tools in there to begin with. If Milwaukee is that good, you would'nt have to return them.
@@davidcook724sometimes people buy a tool for a single job and then return it when the job is finished. It’s shitty, but it happens.
@@davidcook724
There were definitely tools in there. That's where the tool cases and bags came from. They picked the lot clean of the tools, threw the bags and boxes in there to make it look like there was good stuff in there in order to scam buyers. No quesiton.
This has a ton of potential in one of those stores where you dig through bins and buy stuff at a certain price for that day. There is one near me that I can assure you that stuff would do well there.
John you're a hero buying shit and presenting it so vividly! thanks for proving a point that buying pallets is a waste of time and money.
Idk if you've priced hole saws lately but the 3-5" ones are like $35-45 a piece. 191x$40=$7,640. Not to mention the SDS bits, the gloves, the tin snips etc. I really don't think you got a bad deal. The hardest part of it is reselling.
I agree that those hole saw bits are not cheap as had to buy a small (3-1/2" size) one a year ago and it was a shade over $25. Those large ones 5-inch plus have to be $50-plus. However unless you're doing a lot of hole saw work, he's got enough hole saws for ten lifetimes. Also a number of those tool bags are $25 a piece and on up. Wouldn't mind getting those Milwaukee hard cases as well.
Ain't no one buying them from your garage unless you're giving them away. So good luck recouping
This stuff was used and abused it's now far from face value. Big box of junk, too bad someone got to it first!
@ronlovell5374 some of it was brand new still in the package. If I found some deals on milwaukee tools best believe I'm buying it. Obviously you can't sell it at full price but if I can save $5-$10 a whack on tools that are brand, new best believe I will. It also helps to have a huge surplus of tools to pick from.
That's always the problem. I have 10s of thousands of dollars in collectibles like old cards, comics, and toys, but trying to sell all that individually is a tall task
Here's an idea John. If you're feeling generous you could have a drive-by give away like you did with the cutting boards a few years back. Anyone who shows up gets a hole saw and chance to win a toilet snake. 😊🤷♂️
That sounds like a shitty prize raffle ;)
What about a drive-by with different tables, first come first serve, you show up and you get one item from each table.
Oh I was thinking going into the hood and throwing hole saws at people from your car.
@@qwerty112311hole saw driveby.
Agreed, I'd even donate some money to help John recoup some of that cost. Maybe a "Pay what you can" event?
Wow I was just about to look into that....... Thank you for your video it reaffirms what I thought
🤣😂 first time seeing your channel , video make my chuckle !
For ever shirt sold, throw in a hole saw 🤣 and for Christmas put hole saw in everyone’s stocking
Note to self: Self, avoid purchasing pallets with one line manifests.
You should pack all that stuff up on a pallet and auction it off online 😂
Agreed on the hole saw for Cornhole boards. Then I found the festool 1400 router and I never looked back
Hello, I think you'll have this for life. It looks like the rest of a hardware store. There are so many items and it will take a lot of work for you to organize them. I think the value of your work selling this stuff piece by piece will be higher than selling it completely and starting a new project
The hole saws aren't exactly cheap, especially for the larger sizes. Those might be worth something. The bags and drill bit holders are always nice to have.
Only good for sheet metal, wood and plastic.
Would be hundreds of hours of work organizing, storing then reselling.
yea i was thinking there is some value there. With almost 200 of them....sell em for, i dunno...5 bucks a piece? Thats like a grand. With that said, the labor cost for him would probably make it not really work out
a 6" Milwaukee hole saw is 60$. He can get his money back just selling them at half price.
@@davidlohberger5237 Exactly! A saw a lot of $$$ hole saws in there that could easily pay off most of the cost, if not break even.
@@davidlohberger5237 Thats assuming that theyre new (which i dont think they all were) Thats why i just shot for a low number. But yes, maybe I underestimated the value. He'll probably just give em away or something though
The broken impact driver looks like a Milwaukee M18 2656-20 if it is you can buy a whole new case brand new for $40USD roughly and used can pick one up for about $15USD. Its worth the repair in my opinion and is super easy to do
I was thinking that, too. The guts are still good. Find another one that's fried but has a case intact and make a single good one.
Someone might be looking for the guts. I had two busted drivers....one fell in a bucket of water and stopped working. One fell off a roof and snapped. Made one good one out of both.
Even if those holesaws are an average of 10 bucks a piece, you have your $1850 back, and everything else is free!
Thank you for the video!!! I learn a lot from you! Keep sharing such amazing videos in the future also.
Donate the stuff to a tech school. You got the manifest from the auction site claiming a $7k value. I'm no tax expert but that probably is good enough for claiming at least a $2k write-off on the company taxes.
Yeah bro that's not how that works... Have fun going to federal prison.
@bobbytables4305 Well it obviously come from China, so good luck with your federal law.
As a plumber, that hole saw table is heaven for my heart
Thats what I thought too
Thanks for an education, I've been tempted, now I know better.
The people that wrapped the pallet probably took the tools out of the bags
Could you make some table legs out of hole saws stacked on top of each other and welded together. Might be interesting.
A minimum price of a hole saw is $10. You have some fairly large ones - which can cost significantly more. 191 hole saws at $10 per = $1,910 Money made - if you don't count all of the time having to deal with a lot of junk. You can also easily sell the various plastic tool boxes for a minimum of $5 per...
When you factor in shipping and labor it is really not worth it to sell anything worth less than $20 on eBay.
@@disc2120false. Ship with USPS, anything under 13 ounces you can drop off in a mailbox. Avid seller myself. Maybe not for you, but make $20-$30 every time I go to the mailbox is a good gig.
Plus $5 a pair for gloves. 75 pairs $375. People on want big shiny expensive things. I used to resell. I can easily double my money on that pallet.
Man, this popped up in my feed and I saw the face and was like “I know this man”. Looked at the name and couldn’t help but laugh since I haven’t seen you since 6-6-06.
Glad to see life is treating you well after the NFL. If you ever need CNC help or machine diagnostics or repairs feel free to shout out, I’ll be in the comments.
I just came across your channel. I like it! I actually need a hole saw for hiding cords in the wall when I mount my tv. I have everything needed for the project…besides the hole saw haha
Save it all for Halloween. You'll never see another trick or treater after that.
Those bit boxes are useful to repurpose. I know our highschool robotics team keeps their eyes open for them to help organize their traveling repair pit.
Nerd
Should have sang the inventory like the 12 day's of Christmas lol and a partridge in a pear tree 😂
Love your videos
Broken bits can be sharpened and turned into say log bits you dont mind running into ground etc. Its still has the flute and its high carbon steel even if its missing the carbide end.
Gloves and such are useful if the size fits. I would absolutely love that impact even though its wrecked, just fix the shell or get broken one to get the shell and since i dont run milwaukee swap it to Dewalt or Makita batteries easy enough. Those empty cases have suitable metal latches so great for tools that dont have cases and you need on to go, say cut the inside off and put in foam for your chosen tools or equipment. Those bags would be good for get out bags of tools you need on the run job, just pack based on the job, actually kinda looked one before but prices were ridiculous for what i saw for non tool brand ones.
For resellable stuff inventory and sell it to store that sell stuff like this. For the broken ones, donate or give them to people who can fix them for their own use.
Some people in my city started up a Tool Library, donations to things like this are always welcome.
Those 6 inch Milwaukee holesaws sell at Home Depot for almost 60 bucks and the 4 inch ones for around 35 so I don’t think you’ll have any problem at all getting $20-$25 for the 4 inch and 35 to 40 for the 6 inch.
The smaller ones obviously are going to be less but even so every single one of them will be worth probably at least $10 on up. I guarantee you’ve got $1500 worth of wholesale is there no problem and probably if you market it right you got two or $3000 worth.
I honestly would have thought that there would have been at least some tools. That’s a real bummer. It’s a total scam. After watching your video I will never purchase a mystery pallet from anyone. Thanks for sharing and good luck.
Keep in mind any of those broken items can be warranties with Milwaukee. Even the batteries if they aren’t any good.
Need a legit retail receipt to warranty.
@@apocling No you don't. Milwaukee goes by date of manufacturer for non receipt returns.
Not neccesarily, those broken power tools could already be warranted. The retailer and or Milwaukee would have took down the serial numbers for the warranty. Not saying they are already warranted forsure but most likely
@John Totten no, you don't understand. These tools are unable to be warrantied because of how they're purchased.
The Klein tape you threw away is the best tape ever made 😭
Tell me you’re a sparky without telling me your a sparky. You guys would by Klein brand TP if it was offered.

He was so right when he said one of us would love to have that broken floppy impact. Yes I would definitely use it too😂😂
Flex head impact for tight spaces
Honestly, I'm an electrician and woodworker and could find good use for a couple of the 6 inch hole saws 😁
Make up sets of hole saws, bits, and gloves using the bags. Then have drawings, give aways, or even a charity auction. Fun to watch, definitely felt the pain, lol.
i would love hole saws, as someone trying to slowly gather tools for a little shed shop, your trash is literally treasure xD
Lol, you can see the Home Depot returns mixed in there. They still have the green RTV tags on them.
Man I’d go nuts in that pile of stuff. My collection isn’t that strong. I myself got pretty excited over the hole saw bits. I have one of their kits but could use more sizes and there’s different series of them.
get this man some hole sawsss!!!
Yea I’d love to have some good hole saws
I could definitely go for a couple 6" ers.
I have a few cheapo hole saw kits but they are all really small saws, I was watching thinking "man I wish I had those" lol and I dont know what but the price of them has gone stupid (want to get a 5" to make some speakers)
@@AlanarTansden that's what she said
The table of hole-saws needs to happen ! Put all the used ones together, submerge them in clearish epoxy and voilà !
(Might end up costing 7000$ in epoxy alone 😁)
Hole saw bits are the most returned bit because usually people need it for a “one time use” so they just buy it, use and return it.
We would constantly have people come into the store, but whatever size hole saw bit they needed and do that exact thing abusing the warranty/return policy
We have an auction near my house in Michigan where people dump stuff on tables and people stand around and bid on an item but don't touch it and then after the bidding is done they pick it out and then they start again. I GUARANTEE you would at least double your money there. No sorting, no organizing. Just literally dump the stuff out of totes onto the table and let people go to town. At $7 each that's almost $1200 just in hole saws. I'm in southwest Michigan.
Holiest episode yet. But I did watch the hole episode. It was some hole-sum entertainment
Got to be an epoxy river table full of Milwaukee bits and then present it to them! 😅
This video was w Hole-lotta fun to watch. I could always use a hole saw kit!
Seeing y'all go through this made me subscribe 😂👏👌👍
Could have labeled that box as the holey grail lol
Find a local trade school(s), and donate all the usable products you can, there are probably several in your area and I'm sure they would be very greatful to receive newish tools, also anyone who is starting out as an apprentice would equally as greatful.
Great video!!!!
you can buy a new clam shell very cheap for the broken screw gun. I have gotten shells for roughly $12 and even got lucky and got a shell and the led ring on a dewalt gun for $0.03 total. I got 3 incase they made a mistake but a couple years later they are still that price. when my dewalt tools start looking rough I change the clam shells and even replace with all new stickers. I also change the bearings if they start making a different noise under use. which is also very cheap if you measure and don't buy bearings from the manufacture
I definitely want some of those hole saws! Looking forward to how to win some! Nice video, I enjoyed the pallet- it seems the small stuff is always what adds up!
That one Kline tool made it all worth it 😂😂
I could def use some hole saws as I actually do make Cornhole boards myself
As an Home Depot employee I can tell you that almost of those came from Home Depot. Milwaukee and TTI’s other brands like Ryobi and Rigid Power Tools will basically take anything back that the store’s return.
That's a bummer but a great idea would actually to give it away to schools that have shop classes or woodworking schools. As a teacher myself, we don't always have enough. And a plus, if a student clogs a toilet they can use the "Poop tool" 😂😂
From a shelf price perspective… the hole saws themselves have brought 3x your money back. Those things aren’t cheap. I just averaged $25 per hole saw. Came back at $4,775. But selling all those would be a pain and take enough time to make you wonder if it was worth it. On the other hand, quite disappointing there was no real power tools in there.
Of course there's no power tools, they were taken out by the seller
you guys so fun, i like it,
the cut scenes are priceless 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Those toilet augers are great, though without the drive adapter, it's cheaper getting the one from General. Granted, when I worked in the field, I would use the manual handle unless I got wrapped into something stupid like a pair of sunglasses or "flushable" wipes. You'd be flabbergasted how often we pull sunglasses out of toilet traps
Love the not so square framing square!!! At least we know that hole saws are in abundance…. All I can say is that it doesn’t surprise me that there’s not that many junk Milwaukee tools.. Sorry you didn’t score on this one
I guess the main takeaway here is that there's no tool returns other than the one broken drill. Don't understand the plethora of hole saws though! Absolutely love your channel Malecki!
Probably because they won't let you return the drills.
I have tried to.
Some of those hole saws were chewed up!!
Maybe you didn't see the hole saw with the chink of wood in it. The toilet augers, the plumber's snake - all returned used.
Clearance item at some store I guess. Returned everything that hadn't sold and it went into the bin
Any of those 6" hole saw bits leftover by chance? Full time student and DIYer here looking into making my own cornhole set ironically lol. Love the vids, keep it up!
love your videos, i could use an impact bit set or two, i wear a size large glove...lol thats probably the m12 6.0 i returned that quit working... hahahaha
If Habitat for humanity has a program near you im sure the contractors would make quick use of mostof that batch, plus it maybe a write off pending status and bollics. Great score either way!!
Awesome to watch.
Might be time for a second home depot palette :)
Hey man, I'm up a framer in Montana just started my own business last year. Just got my own trailer full of tools. I could use a bunch of those blades and bits and stuff. I know it's a few months old video but holler at you're boy. I'll pay shipping!!
Honestly, that is all a solid haul. You have plenty of consumables and I'd be happy with that. At the end of the day you could give away some and sell a lot of it for less than what the original price is and still make out.
Milwaukee has a strong customer base. You could easily incorporate some of the items into furniture or workbenches and sell them. Man Caves and Garages would be the focus.
I saw someone put a hole saw onto a grinder and take it to his booty. It was crazy
Damn it John, I need to get off of this computer...
edit: Oh hell, that was a brutal box - these things are every bit as much of a gamble as anything Vegas has to offer, lmao
You could always put some of this inventory on your store. I could use a set of hole saws and don't really want to pay new price.
Just the hole saws at $10 each average make up your money.
For electricians, having a 4, 5, and 6" hole saw is very handy for downlights.
I'd LOVE to have a 4, 5, and 6" set just for my own home! I've been gathering LED downlights in those sizes at a bin store, but I haven't lucked out on getting hole saws to install them yet, and I really don't want to use a hand saw to install them.
Not really
Getting rid of 150 gloves or hole saws even FOR DIRT CHEAP is an extreme task so not worth it
Especially since most of them are used ... you will not sell them...
Great project easy to replicate by us armature noobs with no tools.
Even easy for us stator noobs.

Those coffee cups work pretty damn good 👍🏽 I have both the red and black one😅
You were had! I'm gonna look in the AM and see what size hole saw my Millwaukee set is missing. Maybe you got one you could part with!
Question for Milwaukee specialists:
I have a Milwaukee M18 FMTIW2F12 that has an interesting bug. When I press the switch, the machine spins and diode number 3 (third gear) lights up for a long time. Only when the diode turns off is it possible to change the direction of rotation and start again. In addition, the maximum speed (diode number 3) cannot be changed. In order for it to work at all and not to wait for diode number 3 to go out, I remove and put back the battery. That means to change the wheels on a car that has 5 screws, I have to remove and put back the battery 10 times. Once I press the switch, I must not stop until the job is done, otherwise there will be a long pause or re-inserting and removing the battery.
Love the optimism of recovering his money after those previous pallets😅
The views probably pay for the pallets and more. And thats why he keeps buying those failures of pallets :-)
also known as "gambler's fallacy" :)
You could build a table only using what you've got from this pallet 😂
I work at Milwaukee manufacturing holesaws, lol
There is a symbol by the size stamp that shows which shift made them.
If it has one dot, first shift, 2 dots second shift, 3 dots third shift
If it has 3 dots chances are I made it- any size from 2”-5”, carbide and bimetal
Go to a residential site and pass them out. I’m a CM and the guys would love it. Especially little tools and bags like that
Maybe the real returns were the UA-cam Views we gave you all along :)
(I'm still kind of amazed you keep doing this. )
I repair Milwaukee tools for my job! Seeing this is insane! You don’t realize it but the insides of the tools cost more than the tool sometimes!
Tool bodies can be pretty cheap
@@jb-sj9co yeah the body it self can but once you get into the electronics it expensive
I mean, I'm always looking for bit boxes like those, and I burn through portaband blades, so that wouldn't be a total waste for me. 😂
Yeah could have told you, Milwaukee doesn't normally sell returned tools. they are almost all rebuildable/repairable at the factory and resold as remans.
I'm always motivated to build something after watching your videos. but the last time I tried to use my table saw I found out it was dead, 😭
have you considered replacing it with hole saws?
drop two of the empty tool cases into an epoxy table LOL and you should try Skil returns
I'm a residential electrician. can I take some of those hole saws???? We use them to make pucks if we are unable to put up cans.
I have a good question for you. Do you sell any of the Milwaukee tools that you get. I am looking for 2 m18 5.0 batteries and the charger. I just purchased a m18 1/2 drive impact for 50 books brand new. It didn't come with Batts or a charger.
Do a post-apocalyptic apoxy table with hole saw bits in it.
I love Milwaukee power tools but the bags that come with some of them are just as useful as the tool. I would love to have some of those tool bags, especially the larger ones
I tend towards Bosch but throw away all of the blow-mold and cloth cases. I keep the Festool Systainers, though.
They are worth 20 to 30 each.
I used to work for a rental company and we commonly rented out those drain snakes. They quickly garnered the nickname of "shit springs". Miss working there
Started watching when this vide was released and I tried to play a drinking game where you take a shot every time someone said hole saw. I just woke up and its 2024....
Chances are the return guys grabbed all of the tools before shipping anything out.
