❤🧡💛💚💙💜🤎🖤🤍 SERIOUSLY heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time. I look at these beautiful guys and obviously so many of these photos are AT LEAST 75 years old if not more years old and many of them are dead or long dead. I can't help but wonder and pray that they had even semi-happy lives and that a few of them were able to live safely and publicly as gay men. Make that a very few, unfortunately seeing as how horrible homophobia & bigotry and racism were in this country on the whole. I send their memories my Love and the same to the ones that are still living too, of course.🏳🌈🏳🌈🏳🌈🏳🌈
Wilfred Owen & Duncan Grant impress me sooo much. The Great War took out an entire generation -- just like the 80's. Tragic . Leslie Jordan was an eye-opener!
Wilfred Owen was one of the leading poets of WWI, and was killed in action at the age of 25. Benjamin Britten used his poetry as the basis for the "War Requiem" [1962]. It was written for a Russian soprano, Galina Vishnevskaya, an English tenor, Peter Pears [Britten's partner], and a German baritone, Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau. It is a heart-wrenching work, and seems to me especially appropriate to our troubled times.
I knew parts of this history, but thank you for helping make it even more poignant. I'm familiar with Owens poetry and Britten-Pears' music (and love). But I didn't know how the intersected. Wow...powerful. Much appreciated.
Hey Clint a good archive and how very British and Scottish stars, Jude Law and Ewan McGregor sharing a bathroom together so intimately. 😎 I wonder if they peeked at each others at all 😮 Cheers DougT 🇫🇴
Sadly, I have no idea. Most of the photos are found on the internet without captions. And even those with captions aren't always believable. I say give him a name and make up a story for him. :-)
Broad spectrum of subjects and no denying that men can be breathtakingly beautiful too.
(Visual) variety is the spice of my life...thanks for watching!
God knew what He was doing when he created man.
Spectacular photos and great music accompaniment. Thank you.
Thanks, RJ! Glad you enjoyed. I just found a new source for some great photos, so working through them now...can't wait to share soon!
Nadie ha podido detener tanto amor y la naturaleza siempre nos gana. Gracias.

Based on my experience with actors, of course they did. No big deal. Nudity is part of the job. Quick changes in small quarters requires it. :-)
