I like how they are so adamant about their traditions in this episode when in both the season 1 and season 4 christmas episodes they show the Matthews with a green christmas tree, and in the season 4 christmas episode, they even show the Matthews opening their gifts on Christmas Eve (and Topanga and Shawn are there with them).

even though she is staying with her aunt, she would proabably see her parents for christmas. but since they are on a cruise, she is with cory. though it does seem weird that her parents, who she is isn't even living with, are going away for the holiday. "special eggnog" hmmm
if i was cory in this situation firsst id simply tell her to plz respect our traditions as we were nice enough to let u be a part of them thenif she was rude again id say topanga get the Hell out of my house and dont come back until u learn some decent respect
Topanga would definitely end up in Barbados w/her parents…if I had to ship her there by air-mail. When you spend Christmas at someone else’s house, it’s an invitation to share THEIR Christmas, not force your’s down their throats. But then, when has Topanga NOT been controlling??? It’s the one thing I never liked about her.
@bardhi09, I like both the high school AND college seasons. And of course the "drama" is amped up, as you grow, you begin to deal with more and more problems, and that's what I liked about the show. A fan is a fan, don't give me that, "UR NOT A TRU FAN!!1!one!1" crap.

This episode's lesson was wrong. Topanga was being rude as heck and getting rid of all the Matthews Christmas traditions and then they make Cory look like the bad guy

I think Cory was right to be upset with Topanga in this episode. She was being very inconsiderate, not to mention rude.
I remember my mom getting glimpses of this episode while I was watching it and it's one of the reasons she hates Topanga.
