- My favorite game eating fish is without a doubt the highly underrated Kahawhai. They have a massive amount of fight in them for their size and they taste great. Join me for some of the best kayak game fishing for the table. I also meet a lovely woman with who I traded some fresh fillets for a much-needed hot cup of tea and some warm friendly female company on the beach.

try two larger single hooks on the same split ring set so they oppose each other.
A lot stronger than the small trebles that come with those lures and the opposing hooks set better.

LOVE IT MATE!!!! Just bought a Hobie Outback, got a few repairs to do to it and then I will be doing more Kayak fishing too. Had two awesome evenings (28th & 29th April) on the Salmon (Kahawai) in the surf here, 31 between 3 of us the first evening & then I was on my own and kept another 7. Same as you I Love sharing fresh fish with those who cant catch their own Mate :)

Local cafe does a breakfast, raw salmon with fresh lemon, fried mushrooms, avocado, poached eggs and toast, add a little pepper and salt, fantastic. Kawahai might do it too 😃👍

That was bloody good to see you again mate got a good feed there .yeah those cheap lures have always got shit hooks and rings on them .get yourself a handful of good little mustard trebles and a few rings and change them over. You will not loose as many fish.

Howdy y’all. Mr. Clay; well I am not fishing 🎣 it’s been years, anyway I have been cutting grass today Friday May 12,2023 and it’s 6:18am. Yeah, I have been working on the front yard for four days now, I am going to try and finish the front yard today and I still have to rake the limbs over the hill. Then I will do behind the house and down the hill, up the next bagging the grass and dumping it as I go. First time this year and it’s really hard to do for this old broad. Hahahaha, we have three acres full of bird, poison ivy dog crap and our dog had to be put down. My daughter cut it last year, but she is busy helping her daughter up North in Alpena, Michigan. Yeah, I just might tell y’all what’s up with that crap 💩. Not now; it’s just too complicated. My granddaughter is book smart, but she doesn’t have a bit of common sense.
