I don't understand why your channel is not bigger. There are big art channels out there, which are also amazing, but I am much more anxious to see a video of yours then of someone who is doing it for a hobby. You did amazing things with your art, you are an established artist and your art was a huge part of my childhood. I am glad that I am able to learn from a person like you are.
+Tomislav Artz (Tom) i totally agree with you but i also wanted to applaud you for not shooting down other channels. no matter what the community, a lot of people like to treat big channels as if they don't deserve what they have while smaller ones do instead! it's like my pet peeve so. thanks :']
pinecub
I gave credit where credit is due. Those people have achieved things with hard work. I am saying that I am much rather learning from someone who is pretty much a legend then a random person who still is really good.
+Tomislav Artz (Tom) Agreed. I've subscribed to about 5 art channels and more if you also count photography and photoshop and they're all great, but Aaron's channel is the one that not only provides the teaching of a well-established professional but also takes the time to guide you through the basics without the assumption that you've already reached a certain skill level. I can't tell you how often I found tutorials that glance over parts where you really need explanation as a beginner.
Jaros Bodytko
I know exactly what you are talking about! I am not a fan of the "how to draw (character)" videos. People should learn the principles and be able to draw the character themselves.
Tomislav Artz yeah exactly. I consider myself extremely lucky to have stumbled onto this channel by accident through one of my subscribed channels. I've learned more from Aaron in a few months then any other artist (even though they are great as well :))
I can’t believe we have free access to someone with this amount of experience. So, I watched three hours of tutorials and this is my favourite so far. My noses look actually right, for the freaking first time ever!
Glad I found your channel and website, a hidden little gem in an ocean of internet :)
Tell me about it! I'm appalled at myself for not discovering this earlier.
Love how you're always giving us full sneak peeks of the full courses you have! You're the man, Aaron!
I will try to purchase your courses as soon as i can!
You know you're good when you're drawing perfect skulls on the fly to act as guide lines for facial features.
This video is exactly what I was looking for. There aren’t many artists who take the time to address the anatomy involved and the fact that you do just made my day. Excellent. Thank you!
Best explanation on how to on you tube😊.your teaching method is excellent.Thankyou take care .
Waaaaaaah, that helped me so much, thank you! It is as everybody says, I also don't understand why your channel isn't bigger, that is why am so happy I found it, " a hidden little gem in an ocean of internet" for sure.
I think it's the "all shapes and sizes" that trips me up when I'm trying to make noses. I always automatically make the same nose every time.
i found that making exaggerated stereotypes of characters helped alot. My personal favourite was long pointy noses of posh characters.
Aaaron is One of the best, I'm a artist youtuber and I still learn from this man..
I am so excited for your character design course! Will you have a lesson on creating realistic human turnarounds? I have a difficult time turning the figure and keeping the proportions accurate.
thank you so much for this tutorial, Aaron. Can't wait for more lessons.
I love your work
Probbably the best nose tutorial around... Basic structure, shading and perspective all in one I know this is an old video but thank you so much for making this available for free 🙏
thanks a lot for your wisdom and experience. This is a wonderful tutorial and very useful.
i just realized that you were the guy behind some really good disney movies and that to me is super freaking cool
My roommate walked in to see me with a skull on my monitor, a mirror to the side, one hand wiggling and poking at my nose, a sketchbook to the other side and my other hand scribbling - and walked right back out without a word and shut the door.
thank you! followed and drew along to the whole video and definitely felt like I learned a lot
Amazing teaching in you’re blood sir
Dear Aaron! I would like to thank you, because your videos and tutorials helped me to increase my productivity and improve skills. You're that person, who inspires me to do what I do. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you sooo much!
this was very helpful, thank you for not going too in depth and confusing nor giving too little detail. i love this
Thank you so, SO much for this video! I've been struggling with the structure of noses and your tutorial really helped me understand it better!
ONCE AGAIN, EXPRESSING DEEP GRATITUDE FOR ALL THIS MR. BLAISE. Noses can be a pain to figure out. Looking forward to your net batch of lessons!
WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN MY WHOLE LIFE this is the most helpful video ive ever seen
Best art Channel
This video is top shelf. I have been drawing and learning for a while and this video, by far, is one of the most well presented material for learning the anatomy of the nose and the shading of it's plains.
this guy kick ass
incredibly talentuous and intelligent in his art
+locky75 And a great teacher
I really appreciate you taking time to teach people like me, thanks!
I always learn so much from your videos, Aaron. I can't wait til your upcoming course comes out !I own all of your brushes and textures, as well as some videos....All EXCELLENT ! I've got to add too, that your teaching style is really amazing. You approach your teaching on such a friendly, down to earth manner. I thank you. Much appreciated and I can't wait for MORE!
+celticmandoplayer Wow. Thank you very much for the kind words. So glad you are enjoying them.
This is incredibly helpful, thank you!
wow sir, you made me touch all of my nose and that actually helped, amazing tut thanks
I wish I found your channel earlier 😭 Thank you for the great lessons 😊
I like this guy! He gets straight to the point.
thanks Mr. Blaise! this will help me with my noses. once I get some money I'm going to by some of your art videos! :D thanks again
Thank you so much Aaron. I knew I was gonna buy this next course but the fact that you'll also cover realistic anatomy is just more than I ever could've hoped for! I was feeling down a bit because of a little reality check involving my art, but this video alone lifted my spirits and gives me a huge boost to keep at it. Can't wait for this course!
Thanks so much. So useful to see the different planes, and once you start shading it really comes to life. Gonna practice this now!
Thanks a lot Aaron.
Thank you for uploading this sneak peak! I definitely need to practice my noses more 🙌 Awesome video, keep them coming!
Im soo happy for this channel!! Thanks
This is the best tutorial on noses I've seen thank you so much!
You rock Mr. Blaise
I would really love to hear your thoughts on posture and ergonomics for a comfortable working environment, if you have the time to make a video on it. Loved this one, thanks for sharing so much knowledge on your channel!
This was an excellent video Aaron, noses are my biggest struggles when it comes to drawing faces. Its definitely the angles that confuse me, but you provided a very good demonstration as to how to draw noses. Thank you :)
Hey Aaron!
I am really appreciating what you are doing for a lot of artists here on youtube and on your website!
I noticed that you were selling your custom brushes but the only brushes I am interested in is the brush you are using for the main part of this tutorial and also the other charcoal "sketching" brush that you use, you know the one that looks like a default brush.
I love the natural feeling they give the drawings and sketches you make!
+ho9Art I forgot to ask if these brushes are included in one of your brush bundles and if so which one, or optionally where else I could get them if they're not in a bundle.
Thanks! You really helped a lot :) Ive never been able to understand noses well, but this video helped me a ton :)
What kind of drawing pad do you ise and which program? This video, I am glad it is a step by step nose drawing tutorial. Thise of drawing on a skull I haven't seen in the many videos I've watched and did not help me to get better, and I want my proportions to be accuarate. This really really just helped me. I draw on sketch padds with thick paper because I erase alot. If you're willing to share the drawing pad and program you use. I will very much appreciate that. I am subscribed to you now. I look forward to watching your tutorials because this was absolutely the first helpful video I have seen in drawing.
My brain is wrinkling with knowledge, super helpful tutorial
Such an amazing tutorial. I've always had problems drawing noses! thank u so much ❤️

I was wondering in your character design project, if you're going to have a character turn around to show how to design a character in multiple angles. If so, I really look forward to it.
Very helpful thanks

You should do a video of you making a self portrait. That would be really fun to watch
Incredible video😊 thank you so much!!
Hey Aaron, what is a good way to practice consistently in a character?
+SuperDuper good question!
+SuperDuper Myonly advice there is repetition. Doing it over and over again is your best bet.
+The Art of Aaron Blaise yeah, I see, but every time I try to make a character and try to draw him, eventually he will get out of proportion. Thank for the advice though, it was very good, I will to draw him more and more.
+SuperDuper I had the same problem in a LOOONG time. then I started try out Croquis and image refferences on the interenet- with "speed sketching" and in the beginning they looked like . yea... But suddently it started changing. just one bit at the time- then the hands came to the right, even thought everything else was out of proportion . and so on it kept- untill it ended up "more or less" accuate at last.
So, keep trying, and try make alot of different poses with same structure (if A big guy.- exaggerate, and play with it, and it might help to get it right in the end) good luck :)
Thanks for sharing those amazing videos with us sir!
Please do more tutorials like this ,maybe about eyes (human /animals ) mouths/body and details ,thanks :) .
Thank you for the video :)
You're amazing, Aaron. Hope I can be half as good someday!
