- This took all of 30 minutes to do. A expensive but a sure way to do it right . threading is essential to have centritical threads for muzzle attachments to ensure there is no bullet strikes.
The thread starter is from CNC Warrior, and the cutting tool is from Carolina Shooters Supply. In case anyone is wondering.
do you know where I can find the tools to do a glock 40 barrel?
Cnc warrior has the tools for you glock 40

What if you want to have it to where you can switch out different muzzles or put a silencer? Is it better to not put Locke tight and just keep a washer?
so happy your back man
as he disappears again
You're finally back! please post more!
Maybe a link for tools that are used? Would be nice. Thanks
Carolina Shooters Supply, Ebay, & Amazon are where I purchased my tools. I have less than $100 in my tools (purchased new) to thread 1/2X28 RH 22 LR & .223 barrels. You need an annular cutter (7/8 for .22 & .223), an annular cutter pilot, an annular cutter drill adapter, a 1/2 x 28 die, a thread alignment die starter for your caliber, a straight handle die holder, and cutting oil (tap magic or equivalent). You will also need a variable speed hand drill.
@Gun Frog 7/8" is the outside diameter of the annual cutter. 1/2" is the inside diameter.
@@tedh7543 so when looking for the correct annular, they are named/ referred to by their outside diameter, and not the size of the inner area diameter that will not be getting cut away, which is actually what size you want your barrel o.d to be when finished?? I hope Im just misunderstanding you, because if that's how they are labeled/sold, that would be easy to screw up and buy the wrong items.
@@tedh7543 make a video on that
What size of annular cutter is needed for the SKS? You show 14x1 but I'm seeing OD only not thread pitch for annular cutters on CNC warrior for example
do you have a shopping list of tools too buy or make such as that pivot square starter jig thing
Welcome back I wish you happiness
finaly you uploading again i was waiting so long. i love your content keep up the good work😀

Fresh out of Guantanamo Bay

I've been waiting so long for this
Missed you man, cant wait for the new videos
In the US we generally call an annular cutter a “slugger bit” if anyone is having trouble finding them.
Would you recommend this method to thread AK barrel for a suppresor?
Great video, any way you can list the tool used and a link where get this items. Thank you
That's a face I haven't seen in a while! Welcome back!
That was really interesting. I have never seen that process before. I was wondering how you are going to get that die to go on straight. The cutter almost looks like a broach cutter. Great video.
I actually thought you were dead. But ey, welcome back!
Glad to see you back!:)
Great class!
Would it be wize to blue it afterwards?
Or does that even matter
Nice stucco 👍🏼

I would like to do more calibers than just my .22. Where did you get the annular cutter pilots and the annular cutter drill adapter? I tried looking at Amazon but did not know which one to get. I would really appreciate some more specifics on the tools, please. Thanks for making the video!
Finally your back
I hope ammo channel comes back too... Welcome back
I would really like to know where to purchase those tools to cut down the barrel thic k nes to accept the proper thread cutter and the right thread cutting tool as well. Or will a hogan magnetic drill guide and cutter work for the cutting. I know it is very similar to the hogan drill bits.
This was really interesting. Now I know a little bit more about how the world works :D
Great video!
That was actually easier than I expected
very good and cool
Welcome back comrade
welcome back man
Great job
outstanding!
Im watching this beautifully executed after watching Brownells tell you its a 100% failure rate
Very cool vid!
whoa great video
Great video! 👍🏼👍🏼
That looks like a Saiga front sight block. If so, it looks like you are cutting the barrel shroud and also removing a small portion of the barrel OD with the annular cutter. I used a pipe cutter to cut the sight block shroud away exposing about 3/4" of the barrel at the muzzle, then took down a fractional mm off the barrel OD with a dremel to accommodate the die. Your way is more exact using the annular cutter, but I saved some money and it came out ok.
Great job thx
Great video keep it up brother
Hi what size of annular cutter do I need for 18mm OD barrel to make 1/2 X 28 thread?
What flash hider is this it looks dope
Good video bro. I need help getting these tools. How do I determine which annular cutter I need?
Where’d you get the cool tool that cut the barrel?
Oh well you are still alive. welcome back.
Thanks
Do they sell this kit in a 3/4x24 for a 50 cal muzzleloader, and if so where ??
Holy shit hes back.
