Awesome video as usual, keep it up man Also I wanted to know, what modules do you use to mix and master your tracks on the go? Your mixes always sound super tight so I think there's at least something going on...
Hey thanks man! My end of chain was pretty simple in this one honestly. I just have everything running into my Endorphines Cockpit 2 (2 of them), sidechained right through there then into a WMD Overseer for a DJ filter. Then I pumped all of that out stereo into the Volt 276 audio Interface with a little bit of saturation on it and a compressor that are both right on the interface. For the most part I try and mix everything as best I can on the individual synths themselves. An example would be - if I don't need something to really need any bottom end because that's not the purpose that that particular voice is serving, then I high pass it all out until I can notice the timbre changing too much in the mix, then I back it off a bit. I try and have each voice serving a particular part of the frequency spectrum so they don't intermingle too much if that makes sense? I feel like just working with the filters of each voice has helped clean it up a lot. I've actually since gotten rid of that previous end of chain though and now I'm going directly from the Cockpit 2 mixers into the Elektron Analog Heat MkII (bought it after this track). I'm stoked to actually start playing shows and tracking with that thing. The saturation circuit sounds so good! Cheers again and thanks for giving it a watch man!
This is next-level dude! Great work on your composition and performance! I love the drums at around 3:14. The story-telling and drone shots in the video are brilliant as well!
Thank you so much my dude!! All of the credit goes to Selena, Mike and Les for sure. They made it all happen and I just wore a cool jacket lol. We should look to do some collaboration in that warehouse
