I love Bon Iver and I initially thought Justin Vernon was the engine that made it go. I begin to realize this man has a lot more to do with its ethereal nature. Thank you Sean for being a beacon of light in an otherwise dreary musical era.
Sean, man, this performance is crazy. Gets so chaotic and resolves I'm all like perpetually wtf omg. Hopefully next time I see you I can overcome my fan girldom, and talk to you about it!
Dreary musical era? Are you serious? Please don't be that person, music never got shit... the only difference between now and back in the time people though music was at it's best is now it's not played on the radio, music is still as amazing as it ever was, just get off your lazy arse and look for it, it's actually a lot of fun.
I know it to be true that there is a huge jump, when topics are touched upon gracefully or suddenly, that the biggest influences come with the hardest, strongest, boldest, dramatic, or leading statements that the song includes. Choosing upbeat, happy songs will naturally aim to bring you peace, joy and happiness. S. Carey has been a go-to artist of mine for a couple decades that I truly enjoy returning to and finding myself again at; nostalgia. Although his music carries subtle dark undertones or language, his music has brought so much depth and meaning into my life when I felt so empty, shallow, hollow, and terrible.

Sean Carey is excellent - composer and vocalist... and great chops having been with Justin Vernon and Bon Iver
